I feel like the trading is completely pointless because people want to trade their tripples and quads to friends and not spend them on coins in order to trade the rare cards
If you can get them in events that won't be that bad but I feel like there's too many restrictions
How would the game earn money if you can straight up trade that way? You would just get them from free packs and abuse it with an alt or two.
@@Cringeyblues69420 put a level cap to trading..that solves the alt farms since you would need to play on that too.
you also need tripplets ecc for effects...the trade in this way is clearly just to push on spend money for more cards..bad move.
People who can spend will always buy packs for the gambling addiction and the feels. Those that can't won't anyway. And the F2p players are the content for the whales in the Pvp battles. If u alienate your free players and drive them away u soon lose your whales too cause they have no one to play against or lord over with all their cosmetics.

Yeah, it makes no sense to must trade with a currency! Energy alone should be enough for the restriction if the dev want to limit the number of trade per day. This isnt barter-ing!!

Well, even as F2P I have enough 1 Star dupes or 3 Diamond dupes to do a couple trades and 100% the missing cards in my Collection (that are tradeable, ofc I won't get all the 2 Stars and above).

I’ve heard the change in wonderpicking is that you have to be friends with the person before they open the pack in order to be able to wonderpick from said pack. Eliminates the entire wonderpick godpack thing.

True. I need to burn my cards to obtain tokens. Man atleast give same amount of tokens that it takes to trade. By burning my ex it gives 125 tokens and it takes 500 tokens to trade the ex. So i need to burn 4 ex cards to trade 1 ex card. Wtf bullshit

Between how disappointing trading is, the fact we’re only getting 140 cards instead of 280 like GA, and no change in rewards, online ranked or lack of it, and challenges mostly staying the same, it’s safe to say Pocket is squandering its good start

The Cynthia cosmetics aren't part of the pass, they're gonna be one of those bundles similar to the Gardevoir/Erika ones
1:00 The distribution times are in epoch time. You can convert it to normal time using an online calculator. The date of release is Jan 29th 10:00PM PST. The free genetic apex packs should be coming out Feb 27th 6:00Am PST.
Trading is going to be a big letdown after all this time of waiting it’s turning out to be a big disappointment. They should’ve just limited how many times we can trade per day and the types of cards we can trade instead of having this resource because I can see people using up all their resources in the beginning and just not having enough to trade frequently and it’s probably gonna be something else you have to pay for
Should be fine, a whole new set is being revealed…tons of new cards to trade if they allow the new cards to be traded from day 1. Unless everyone is a whale these days in TCG, it should be ok.

it could be like CUE trading system honestly...you have offers or can post a card to trade, people make offers for it and you can accept or counteroffer in 24h. Add level lock to trades, ability to trade either the same rarity for same rarity or more lower ones..then it's the player that decides to accept or not. Then like 3 trades charges..same for wonder picks that recharges slowly and you have a decent trading system instead of another cash grab..since it's that come on the playerbase isn't dumb.

Yep, I wanted to trade dragonite for melmetal and I had 0 tokens, and you need 125 tokens for 3 diamond trade. And I had to delete 1 full art superior and another 3 diamond to get 125 tokens.😂😂💀

doing math and with $200-$300 you complete the collection with GP hunting and get some x2card sets on trainers and pokemons for the meta decks. without it now it will actually cost $2000-$2500 by actually cracking digital packs and redeeming pack points where your cap is 125boosters a day (625pts to reedem on your chased cards) 2stars: 1250pts. $100 a day ish. so each 2stars cards: $200 on reedem booster points. 6weeks between expansions: 126 'free' boosters (2 free, 1 subcribsion): 630pts. GGs

Trading went live on Android at 9 est tonight. I think iOS is still scheduled for 1 est, but it's live at the time of this comment for Android.
Trading tokens are required for trading anything 3 diamonds or above, 120 for a 3 diamond, 400 for a 1 star, and 500 for a 4 diamond.
None are given on launch, and they must be obtained from breaking down duplicates. You get 25 from 3 diamond, 100 from a 1 star, and 150 from 4 diamond cards.
It came out at 9 for ios as well

does the one who starts the trade , is the one who has to use the tokens or should both parties use their tokens ?
most cashgrab trade system ever...at that point i just farm pack points and get the card from here..i don't see the point of even bothering with trades when you can use the duplicates to add effects instead of barely getting the points you need.

I just don’t see the point in trying to crack down on the wonder pick. Because even if you have a God account to choose from you might be looking for a specific Pokémon that you want for your deck. And there is no guarantee that the one you choose is the Pokémon you’re looking for. It’s like getting a pick with all the legendary birds but you end up choosing your third moltress instead of the missing articuno. What they should do is do special sales where you can buy a pack for a significantly reduced price. Or if we win an online battle, we get higher rewards because as of right now, I don’t see any rewards for winning.
Trading should have been an open auction house style thing, similar to what is seen in most MMORPGs. Put your cards up you wanna trade, set parameters for what you would accept (i.e. the cards you need in your collection) and then folks can offer up their card for trade, maybe giving you a choice to accept or not.

I would like to see:
● Competitive Ladder
● Better Rewards for winning a match
● some type of drafting event
I would like to see new stuff that keeps me engaged. Right now the game becomes monotone pretty fast, especally after having most of the cards from the newest set. Battling isn't engaging as well since there are no rewards pr goals beside the pin events, and these are not very good as well. What we need is a monthly pvp league where you can get into a higher league after a certain amount of wins and get rewards for it. Also a weekly cpu enemy with missions around it would be nice to keep players engaged.

Wonder if they'll do the 5 win streak emblem event again. The 45 wins one was the only one in the leaks, but maybe the assets just weren't added to the game yet
Game is still super barebones and imo while the Smackdown set is decent, EVERYTHING else they've done is subpar/below average! Trading is God awful and just about as bad as they couldve made it, still hardly anything to do, a couple step up battles with the same premise as before, big deal... How about:
-ladder system/or ranked online system with cool cards & resources to earn along the way AS WELL AS a monthly placement reward(ie top player, top 10, top 50, 100, 500 & so on).
-arena or draft system where we can use shine dust, wonder hourglasses or whatever do draft a random deck and compete as far as we can with it for different card rewards, pack points, etc
-up the pack points amount per pack AND allow us to breakdown all these extras that we've spent on for pack points as well, GTFO with trade tokens and flair/etc
-raid system that allows us to join our forces as a community to battle Megas or whatever and earn potential 2star FAs/RRs...
That is just a FEW simple ideas and options but unfortunately so far they have just chosen GREED

I’m not mad about how resource-heavy trading is (albeit it is annoying). I’m mad that even with this system, trading of 2-Star cards wasn’t implemented.
Fine, don’t let us trade Immersive cards nor Crown cards. Let them be the rarest cards ever, that u can only get from opening packs. But for 2-Star cards: JUST INCREASE THE CAP FOR NECESSARY TRADE TOKENS. THAT’S ALL THEY HAD TO DO.

Already did 4 trades 30 mins after the update, to get my 2nd Raichu and Kangaskhan as well as 2 Melmetal. The 6 full art Salandits I got on Mythical Island were quite helpful

pack will stay ofc..check on the site but if you have arleady most of the cards shift to the new ones as they will definelty change the meta. Not sure how they will impact on the genetic apex decks so we need to wait for that.

It costs FIVE fucking 3 diamonds just to get enough trade tokens to be able to trade for one singular 3 diamond… who in tf at their company thought “yea this is a great idea” it’s pretty clear how greedy they have gotten even with all the money they’ve already made. They pretty much said screw all the f2p players. If they don’t switch up fast, they’ll lose 80% of their players all because they wanted to be money hungry

At 1:18 the "Distribution Period" format you read there is in UNIX timestamps. Basically milliseconds. If you convert them it should technically be 27th of February and 30th of April

If they need wonderpicks tot he ground I’m basically gona have to drop the game because once I get the sr mew and rr mew there’s not much else I can afford to go after. There are like 20+ fa cards and there is no way anyone spending under 20$ a week is going to be able to get them. Really shooting themself in the foot by trying to nerf wonderpicks. It’s not even guaranteed. I still haven’t gotten rr mew after a week of god packs. I project it would have been 2 more if they weren’t needing them already

We aren’t getting the new packs til 1AM EST…or whatever time zone you are in, that equivalent of that. I would say crack what you have now and hold what you earn for tomorrow so you have more pulls for the new booster. It’s what I did for Mythical Island and I had some great pulls from my first handful of new booster packs. And that is on 1/30, not in 2 hours. You literally have a whole day. Good luck 🍀

How exactly does the giant cape work? If I attach it to my mewtwo does it instantly go up to 170? Or does it stay at 150 and only the health bar goes to 170, so I need a potion to increase it as well?
@@rozwel14 both their HP and Max HP go up 20 points. That's the whole point of the tool, it would be useless if it only gave you current or max hp instead of both.

Trading is wack... at this point should have just done something like hearthstone where you smelt dupes and make the card you want, this just adds an extra unnecessary step and calling it "trading"
