What is the grip like on the flat version compared to 510ns?
    Thanks for the vids

Surprisingly good! The sole feels a bit thicker, so slightly less feel than 510, but with a more solid/protective kinda feel...

I'm planning on buying these, what cleats/pedals are you using, I'm not sure what to go for? TY😊

Currently using a pair of simple Shimano XT pedals - they run forever and for good reason being by far the most popular pedal over the years. In the video i fitted DMR V-twin pedals but I've found them to go through bearings too fast. I'd generally suggest avoiding crank brothers - almost no adjustability and the cleats wear really quickly (as do the pedals)

@@RamsayMacFarlane brilliant, thank you. I was looking at Crank Brothers but will check out more Shimano XT instead.

What’s the stiffness difference between clipless and flat? Are you noticing any difference in riding clipless with the patch on the sole or riding the flat ones? Cheers

Honestly haven't tried the clipless set with the plug in yet! The shoe is definitely stiffer... hard to quantify though. Now they're bedded in I'm well impressed with both versions to be honest. Flats grip is good! Burly and strong as opposed to the more relaxed and light fiveten freerider pro which is kinda the benchmark.
