    I think Kimberly's run cancel is a true frame trap now so it can't be interrupted unless it's a Super, Drive Reversal or OD Reversal anymore. It can still be PC if she run stops though, I think.
    Chris F discovered an OS for it. You just jump backwards after 3 or 4 frames after she jumps off of you. This covers her command grab and attack. I just don't know if it covers her side switch option.

    Well you went to training mode half way thru the video and discovered that her st.MK > run isn't a true frame trap so disregard what I just said.

    This ‘match up is my worst along with Rashid. So many mixups. It’s mostly once she gets you in the corner. I’ve been improving a bit with her, I stop doing cr. M punch because her punch has so much range.

      You do realise that Ryu has a horrible drive rush? Should Marissa be toned down as well? She was also buffed. Your one-dimensional analysis is pathetic.

      If ryu doesn't have his damage, he is strictly just a worse Ken and Akuma.
      I don't care if his damage gets nerfed, i just want him to be a little bit more safe on his slow ass normal and special moves and have a more mix ups in his gameplan.
      Currently, his game plan is to just go for throw loops and set up the shimmy game, cr.MK DRC, or st.HP PC DRC.
      And not to mention that all of his combos end with LK Tatsu, which does absolutely no damage. He relies on the meaty LP Hashogeki to get corner carry and set up the shimmy game. Ryu essentially sacrifices damage for this unreliable, overplayed Oki set up in an attempt to get corner carry.

    Now people see why Ryu needs to be buffed. All this character gimmicks like Jamie, Kimberly, Bison and many more has that BS safe normals that has plus on block

      Everybody else just seems so safe on block. Like you said, even "low tier" characters like Jamie and Kimberly. For God sakes, even E Honda is safe on practically everything. I feel like the only thing he isn't safe on is his OD Headbutt, which never needs to be used most of the time anyways.
      Ryu just has so many slow moves and they're all mostly not safe on block or just super easy to interrupt. I wouldn't even really count LP Hashogeki safe on block because it puts you in a strike throw mix up (in the opponent's favor) most of the time.
      MP Hashogeki can be interrupted with jabs and DI. Same with HP Hashogeki and Denjin Hashogeki. No Ryu player should be using OD Denjin Hashogeki on block so I'll leave that one out. It's just an immense waste of resources if done on block.
      LK Donkey Kick is hard to interrupt, but HELLA unsafe on block. -11. I forgot how minus you Re if spaced perfectly.
      MK Donkey Kick is mildly hard to interrupt, but has to be spaced pixel perfect or else it's also HELLA unsafe on block. -8. I think you're actually +2 on block if spaced perfectly. But there is no in between, you're either -8 or +2. A freaking HUGE disparity between risk and reward of you ask me. Plus, you can't even get Oki off of it. Oki is so important in this game, especially since Ryu has all these slow special moves and average normals.
      HK Donkey Kick. Everybody just parries it and PC Sweep it in neutral. You only use it as a PC or combo extender.
      Solar Plexus is slow and it doesn't even provide a strike throw mix up. If you're playing against a good player they will Perfect Parry your follow up attack because they're -3 or do a Reversal to counter it. And blocking also doesn't hurt them either. It's not really Ryu who is safe, the opponent is actually the one who is safe if you think about it. He's the one who has to initiate the pressure or else you're both reset to neutral and Ryu just generally loses in the neutral game. Because what's he realistically going to do after the opponent blocks Solar Plexus? Walk up, throw? The opponent can just delay tech this. They can even just to cr.LP or cr.MK in case you decide to walk back. cr.MP > LP Hasho? Leaving you -3 on block again in a striek throw mix up? st.LK > Hadouken? Leaving you anywhere from -5 to -9 and reset back to neutral?
      f.HK is slow. There is no real reason to use this move in neutral because he is +38 after the Air Tatsu knocks them down. Being +38 is not great because you are +0 after two forward dashes. Ryu needs to do raw Drive Rush in order to steal his turn EVEN THOUGH he won the original exchange with a slow ass 16 frames startup, 20 frame recovery move like f.HK. And I don't even think he has true Oki after two forward dashes in this situation. Which means he can't even threaten a strike throw mix up against characters who has 5 frame jabs like I think Zangief. I could be wrong though, I forgot how close he is to his opponent after two forward dashes.
      b.HK is just so bad in this game. Not sure how it was in other street fighter games, but it's just soo bad... Only useful in like 1 or 2 scenarios, maaybeee 3.
      b.HP has absolute no range whatsoever. Only useful after Perfect Parrying jabs and Drive Rush st.HP. I am aware of the trade combos involving it, but I feel like if you have to settle down for trading in order to take your turn then that's an inherent problem in my honest opinion. It's okay if you accidentally trade, but if you're ONLY looking to trade then no... That's not a good sign...

    5hp/5mp xx run and 5mk xx od run will both beat 4f jabs
