I really liked how you showed the way you disinfect your implements. It's important to do so. I don't see many nail bloggers demonstrating it. Great video. I've been watching you for years and its nice to see how you have been branching out to other style of videos
Wait, YOUR collab with Clear Jelly Stamper???? I just saw pictures on their insta and actually commented how beautiful they look! The floral one is perfect!
Rose is so cute crawling 🌹💜 I am dying to try all the clear jelly stamping products. I never even knew they existed until I started watching your channel. Thanks so much for sharing all your experiences it really helps us new techs avoid products that don't work that great !
Ack! The Wildflowers Cat Eye gels! I'm dying to see a video with them :) Thank you for the cleaning video. I love to see the set up and how people have things organized :)
Oh man. I can't wait to get my new room set up next year. I have so little space in the room I have right now so everything is everywhere. Loved all your organizing trays
Love this vid! It's a short peek into your nail tech space AFTER the client! Can you do a short vid on the back-office things no one else sees? such as how you manage timing of your services, how you reserve time to prep for clients, how many sets of tools you use on a full day, tricks to help clients choose their nail art or colors (or how long it can take!) these are all things that we have to manage so well as a nail techs and I'd love to hear how you do it! thanks for all the effort you put into your career and sharing with us!
im back! do you have a video on how to thoroughly clean and disinfect all nail tools and what disinfectant products to use if your not a pro. Can I just soak them in alcohol? I only work on myself but I think cleanliness is so important. What about cleaning a pedicure foot soak tub. Thanks Talia
yeah I watch all your videos but this one I was like ummm not sure if I needed to see this but I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked it! you make Any time of video fun!! thanks for all your awesome videos!!
Talia, I loved this!! We have a lot of similar furniture and nail goodies including storage. We clean our implements the same way. Good reinforcement for me that I'm doing it right. My cords are a pain too. My husband & I have looked at a couple of solutions. I'll send you some pics. Didn't know about the bit solution cleaner. Will check into that. I've been using alcohol. Thanks. Another winner😍. Rose is so adorable!!!
To be honest, I was not enthused about this video, but I figured I would watch it anyhow. I loved it!! So surprised. You did great, girl! For the cords, go to a full service hardware store like Home Depot, Lowe's, whatever they have in your area. Tell a clerk in the electrical area that you are looking for a solution to hide electrical cords. They should be able to help. There are lots of good solutions. I have a white slightly flexible tube meant for corners that I run my wall-mounted TV cords through, but they also have ones for the floor that look like a slightly humped strip of plastic with a hollow space under the hump you can run the cords through. These are perfect for traffic areas and are pretty trip-proof, and will also help keep cords out of a crawling baby's way. Computer stores also have power hubs you might find useful. Mount the power hub inside a drawer or on the side of the desk, run the wires to it, then you only have one wire running to the wall. An additional advantage is that with a power hub, you have individual on/off switches for each item plus a master power switch to turn everything on and off at the same time. Good luck and have fun shopping!!
always love videos on your nail studio gives me great ideas for mine! ps you should take the price tag off the pink chair at your filming desk its such a pretty room !
Hi Talia what a fantastic video & so valuable, I have to add that in all my years as a nail tech I have never seen anyone show a video like this & until you did, I didn't even know how much it was needed so thank you, because you made all the points about hygiene so clear. Oh Talia your delicious Rosie is oh so adorable & she seems such a good girl, thank you for bringing her into your video's because I'm sure I'm not the only one who love's to see her & when she's older I think she'll love that she was the little star in mummy's video's. Love Xv
Ooooooh! loved it Talia 😍 TY...I'm sooooo nosey when it comes to seeing how others clean 😋 ...As for your cables I'd send my hubby over to sort them but I think distance might be a problem 🤔😂...Electrical hardware store will have solutions 👍...Rose is getting so big she's such an Angel 💗.. TYFS Hun 😘 xox
Thank you for posting this video! It helps provide not only some tips and tricks for storage, but also how importantitis to do proper sanitization! Rose has grown so much, she is simply adorable! For your cords, you can get a special "cord hider" that sticks to your florr and the cords aretucked inside, I have one and will PMyou a picture.. thenyou could always get a small say 1" piece of abs pipe (which you can paint, and cut to the height of your desk) to bring the cords up from the floor to the edge of your desk, then they wouldn'tbe a "dangly". :) And I hope to place a CJS order soon as I have some spare cash, and will Definately be adding your plate to the order! HUGS my friend
I'm hoping anyone can enter this upcoming giveaway and not just nail techs..either way I love watching everything you put on here and your other channel and Rose is so freakin adorable!!!!!!!! She's getting so big, crazy how fast time goes. 💓
I love all your videos regardless of what your doing lol. I lied that you showed your disenfecting routine, and now I want a little vibrating cleaner for my bits too 😉.
Loved it something different, with the nail desk that I a very popular brand in Australia (emendee) it has PowerPoint's underneath the table 2 double points then all u have to do is plug the desk in just 1 cord going across your floor if you want a closer look I can post some pics for u, cause I think all u would have to do is get an electrician to have a look and install PowerPoint's in your existing table
Great video Talia as always. Rose is getting so big and she is going to be walking so very soon. She is so beautiful and I always love it when we get a glimpse of her in your videos. I've been eyeing those wildflowers cat eyes myself as well as the peacock chrome I believe it's called. It's a bit pricey but looks so very gorgeous. I'm impatiently waiting on someone to do a video on that so I can decide if I need to snatch that up before it's gone. Now if only I could clean as fast as this video all would be good but I would rather just watch more videos about nails. The lazy Susan on your desk....did that come from Canada somewhere? I'm stateside and am looking for something similar for my desk to put topcoats and all that jazz on and the one you have looks perfect.
i found a pretty comparable dupe from born pretty for the wildflower chromes, they call them their top grade chameleon powder and they are more expensive than their other stuff but only 3-6 dollars depending on weight, i have a link if ur interested, i got them and i was very impressed, although i don't have the wildflowers to compare it too it is the nicest chameleon chrome i've seen from them
not sure where you response went but here is a link for the chromes also, they look exactly like in the photos in real life, they are so shiny and chrome its crazy and only $7 canadian for all 9 colors!!! www.ebay.ca/itm/9colors-Mirror-Powder-Glitter-Stickers-Nail-Art-Chrome-Pigment-DIY-BORN-PRETTY-/361901632135?var=&hash=item544304aa87:m:mN85SXDtWXIUAUfM59GuCPg and here is the link for the top grade chameleons which are also amazing!!! ://www.ebay.ca/itm/Born-Pretty-Top-Grade-Chameleon-Nail-Art-Powder-Chrome-Pigment-Glitters-Decor-/162335992842?var=&hash=item25cbfaac0a:m:mqzDErWpZKvDM5fHMsW7Pug
Loved this! Thanks for showing your disinfecting routine!! What is the little container called that you clean your bits in!? I know you mentioned somewhere that it vibrated a bit! Cleaning up after clients is the WORST but most rewarding once it's done!! Can't wait to see your CJS collar plates!! 😍😍
also im loving the inspiration you are getting from watching other youtube videos, just please for the love of all that is sacred DO, NOT. DO ASMR videos lol, actually maybe you would be great for that hahahah
i love love love my sunuv 9s lamp for travel/portable, it can run off a battery pack the kind a usb cable hooks up to that you can charge your phone or ipad, idk what they are called, but it will run off a battery pack or wall outlet and cures builder gels in 30 seconds and its under $20 on ebay or ali with free shipping and is the exact same technology as the light elegance led plus+ lamp the little diod led/uv lights they also have the light just like light elegance same shape and color but only cost $30 my next lamp will be the sunuv3 2.0 it is the most expensive lamp they make at $60 but has the smart time memory so it remembers how long the clients hand was in has the low heat mode so slowly heats up and also has the double speed mode and cures builder gels in 15-20 secs. i know you like to support companies that only sell to professionals but they SunUV company is the biggest maker or the new led/uv bulbless lights.
Baja Rosie I have a sun lamp as well and it is just my favorite. I bought a gelish lamp when I first started doing my nails and I just don't care for it. I like that my sun lamp cures both led and uv. It was also a fraction of what I paid for that gelish lamp. I still have the gelish and will probably keep it as a backup for emergencies just in case my sun lamp goes down but I will definitely replace it should that happen. I watched a review for the newest sun lamp last week and it looks like a winner too.
i here you on buying the brand names and spending so much extra for nothing!! i bought the lcn lamp and it was like $500 when it first came out, but now that i know the science behind the wavelengths the gels cure at im sticking with my inexpensive sunUV's for sure!! no light bulb changing either a total win
Baja Rosie I bought that gelish kit and for the life of me I cannot get the gelish products to not lift. I have done everything I know and initially thought it was my prep that had failed. I don't have trouble with lifting or peeling with any other brand I've used so it has to be something funky going on with my nails and the gelish. I just hate I spent all that cash and now I don't use any of the products. I don't think it's a bad system I just think we are incompatible for some reason. And I learned a valuable lesson with that purchase. I start small with new brands until I know I can successfully use them and or that I like them. I wish I'd have had that particular epiphany before I flushed all that cash down the drain though🤔 Oh well live and learn I guess😬
Love it ! I especially love seeing rose . She is getting so big and changing so much . She sure is priceless.
I really liked how you showed the way you disinfect your implements. It's important to do so. I don't see many nail bloggers demonstrating it. Great video. I've been watching you for years and its nice to see how you have been branching out to other style of videos

Love this style ! I'm always picking up inspiration plus love the sneak peak in the upcoming videos.
