In all honesty, I really like the build. It’s plain, simple, and it also makes a great use of traps. Which I don’t use as much. This has also reminded me that not every settlement has to be a New Megaton. Really amazing nonetheless.
For my one I'm doing for part 1 I've made a rall building at the back to reach the roof. The walls are a mixture of junk fences scrapped when I get the trades established concrete because in my story concept its used by the minutmen to build alot of outer wall structures.
Cool ,really tidy ,you used the space really well ,its exactly the sort of builds i want to be doing in my survival mode ,if only I would stop getting one hit killed from molotives than I would actually play it .
There's a method to duplicate resources in the base game, by basically scrapping and storing a material at the same time. I think IGN has stuff on it, buts it's really great for settlement building.
I used a bunch of mods and managed to turn my red rocket into a factory by deleting the full building (mod) and using my other build mods for industrial generators which can give me 125 energy and because I have a build anywhere mod I used pipes going to some industrial water towers (mod) and I have people working inside and they have animation mats (mod) for like clipboards and going on computers and ticking generators etc but this is really cool I like it
Wow, this is conservative. I play on survival and I got a ginormous wall around settlement, and buildings all over...barely make it into maximum size bar. I want to break it apart and remake into something like you did here. Well, not exactly, I'd make wall a bit longer to get that front lot as well~
Snolana You should try and make use of warehouse powered gate. A wide entrance to the settlement which you can hook to a switch. So then you can make a switch per gate, a lockdown switch and even a logic gate hooked to a siren, so that lockdown activates when settlers turn on the siren.
+StarlightFromAbyss you see I'm not entirely sure I want too many settlers in this settlement at all (0-4). I don't feel a setup like that would be necessary for this but I might do that in a future settlement build. But you'll have to remind me. Thanks for the idea 👍
It quite puzzles me why you only have 1.3k subs. I copied the rough layout of this build, and it looked really good. I like your eye for how things would look realisticly
Without mods, place the wall ON a rug, then sink a concrete pillar in the ground slightly next to the run, then hold down the select button while looking at the pillar, (A or X depending on what console you’re on), and it should pick up everything you’ve just put down and will allow you to sink the walls in the to ground. Effectively acts as a “place anywhere” type of glitch for the wall(or anything else you put in the run). Look up Norespawns ‘building glitches’ video for a demonstration. Hope it helps. 👍
Your kinda like norespawns (If you know who that is) just the way you both speak, sometimes you speak quiet and say "Uh" or "Um" quite a few times. Great Video though.
Probably Scrap Everything. But you need to be careful with it cause you can literally scrap what ever the hell you want. Quick save alot tends to crash the game. But its great for cleaning up stettelments
Task force blue sas I just found it in the Xbox mods menu. It just chucks about 60,000 units of every material is a container near vault 111. And it regularly refills it if you are constantly emptying it
You're volume is way low i had to blue tooth this video throughout my DJ system just so you would be loud enough to hear and not sound like it was a slight whisper while my phone was at Max volume
jesikebiking Clean the Commonwealth is the mod that cleans up all the junk and trash that you can't move in the vanilla game. I don't remember the full list of all the mods I use. If you wanna know the full list, I can check tomorrow morning and let you know.
Use some common sense man and watch the final tour before you make comments like this. If you still think it's trash then feel free to be a douche about it there. But when I see comments like yours in these initial build videos, I just feel embarrassed for you. It's like looking at an unfinished house and saying "I wouldn't live in this, it doesn't have a roof!", and it's like yeah, obviously because it's unfinished. Comments like are honestly just quite amusing. Thanks for the feedback though.
Alright, I am sorry I’m being douchey. I come for ideas. Not someone’s speed build. Why do you waste build space with walls surrounding your whole settlement when there are two spawn points for enemies? Put your guns up high to give them a bigger area of effect making them more efficient. You want to kill them before they get to your settlement. You are Using preexisting buildings, when you have everything imaginable to make a cool house for your people. You need to fix them, mod them, when you could make your own exactly the way you want. Red rocket is a shithole. It’s cold, dirty and small with no ability to make it homey. I’ve spent 30 some years playing RPG/building like Sim games. Maybe I’m just used to building, and can’t find anything online that people make that are good imho. Sorry. Red Rocket is my “home base”. I’ve closed it down and built a two story house behind it that wraps around with 12 bedrooms, a pub, a clinic, trophy room. I have armor stands and weapon racks all over that hold all my legendarys. I have a deck around the front with another cafe and a place to chill for my companions, my gaming area, robot workstation, and a place for dog meat to live. All lit up like the griswallds on Christmas Eve. All my companions have different clothes. (Put Grogneks costume on Cait. Total cutie) All with easy access for defending. I have guns surrounding the entire place built on top of Red Rocket. And no damn walls wrapping the whole thing. Again totally unnecessary. Takes up build space. Two spawn points. Defend those. The enemy should never get within 20 feet of your buildings. Grass and dirt is everywhere in your build. What’s the point of having 13 different power Armor if you use one? Again, taking up unnecessary space. Find the best one and equip it correctly for each mission you do. (I don’t use power armor myself, but I do have the best one you can get, just in case). Again I’m sorry for bashing your build. I know you took time and effort and you are proud of your build. I wouldn’t want someone bashing mine either. I’ll link mine one day so you can see it. Until then cheers. Happy building.
AJ Boss like I said, did you watch the final build video? I don't mind if someone bashes my build. Each to their own and I don't play this game anymore so it's fine. I just realise that this video by itself doesn't make a lot of sense because it's meant to be about where the build began and is honestly a bit garbage on its own, for obvious reasons. I also think you've misinterpreted my intentions with the build. I don't give a shit where the spawn points are and how many there are. I set out to make something different and interesting that I hadn't seen others do with red rocket. I had no concern for gameplay efficiency. You also touched on how your settlement had a pub, clinic, places for you companions etc, and how that makes your settlement stronger or perhaps better than something like mine. Of course it's a matter of opinion but also I think it's important to note that I didn't set out to make a bustling community. I meant to make an interesting player home for just you and dogmeat. As I said, each to their own opinion and if you think it's a shit settlement because it's just a player home and nothing else, then that's fine. My work in this video doesn't properly represent the end product which I hope you get a chance to look at if you haven't already. Thanks for the feedback and I'd be interested in seeing a settlement that you hold in high regard.
I never said my settlement was better. I just make all my settlements with the intention of a thriving community. I always make them with the ability to have at least 15 to 20 people, besides places like Hangman’s Alley, etc. I’ve seen your vids and have taken some ideas and used them. Some of your settlements are great and some not so. Same as mine. I find yours to be much to big and open. I tend to make mine small packed with people to seem more active. You have a three level staircase that leads up to a beat up couch and a tv.. they seem empty outside of the occasional settlers roaming around. You have 5 level one shops on one floor, just sitting next to each other... no separation. When I put a bar, shop, clinic, etc in all my settlements, it’s because I have the intention of using them all for a community. Even if I have 2 people in the settlements, I still build them for 20. It’s just how I do it. Your settlements remind me off half way houses and soup kitchens, the way they are set up. 4 beds connected to each other... big open rooms with a bunch of shops... You tend to use a lot of premade structures too... I’m just OCD I guess. Again, sorry if I offended you. I just get annoyed sometimes and pcrage take care
I like red rocket as a personal base
And?
Pikachu shut the fuck up
The Joker shut the fuck up
sulsty Me too ! 🐕
@@cxvqa No need to be a prick

Admittedly, this is the first Red Rocket build I've ever seen that doesn't utilize the roof-space.
For my one I'm doing for part 1 I've made a rall building at the back to reach the roof. The walls are a mixture of junk fences scrapped when I get the trades established concrete because in my story concept its used by the minutmen to build alot of outer wall structures.
What kind of sorcery is this?! My red rocket is exactly the same and built the same order..... BEFORE I FOUND THIS VIDEO!
Is it still?
Cool ,really tidy ,you used the space really well ,its exactly the sort of builds i want to be doing in my survival mode ,if only I would stop getting one hit killed from molotives than I would actually play it .
Hahaha too true.
Mods my friend
Very nice looking build
I keep all my mods and every single looted item organized in containers at my redrocket and enjoy the journey back evertime i want to craft.
There's a method to duplicate resources in the base game, by basically scrapping and storing a material at the same time. I think IGN has stuff on it, buts it's really great for settlement building.
5 year old vid and i love it
thx for the tutorial mate
I used a bunch of mods and managed to turn my red rocket into a factory by deleting the full building (mod) and using my other build mods for industrial generators which can give me 125 energy and because I have a build anywhere mod I used pipes going to some industrial water towers (mod) and I have people working inside and they have animation mats (mod) for like clipboards and going on computers and ticking generators etc but this is really cool I like it
You are so creative.
Wow, this is conservative. I play on survival and I got a ginormous wall around settlement, and buildings all over...barely make it into maximum size bar. I want to break it apart and remake into something like you did here. Well, not exactly, I'd make wall a bit longer to get that front lot as well~
Dude, feel free literally copy whatever and however much of my builds you want.
Snolana That was the plan))
yep no worries. part #2 is currently uploading.
Snolana You should try and make use of warehouse powered gate. A wide entrance to the settlement which you can hook to a switch. So then you can make a switch per gate, a lockdown switch and even a logic gate hooked to a siren, so that lockdown activates when settlers turn on the siren.

this is a really nice build, gonna use it, thanks
Cozy inside! I hate all the clutter and trash in almost every base.
SU Shigeno How old are you
Don'tworryBeAFurry how old are you? Look at your fucking name.
Love it mate, just one question is where to put 4 more bed
Ted rocket 🚀 is everyone's favorite base
How do you make 2 object stuck to each other? It's a very useful think to know.
SIR ANOTHER SETTLEMENT NEEDS YOUR HELP! HERE I'LL MARK IT ON YOUR MAP
Man you got mods and you got 65,000 everything I'm suffering for metal
late but just put down the Junk you want then press scrap and store at the same Time keep holding store tho then you will have double of that resource
It quite puzzles me why you only have 1.3k subs. I copied the rough layout of this build, and it looked really good. I like your eye for how things would look realisticly
Haven’t uploaded in years mate, probably one of the reasons my channel never took off hahaha
Thanks anyway though 👍 glad it’s still helpful to people
Great video!
Thanks man
your such a great builder!
+Cidous SWTOR thanks! Stick around for more because I'm uploading part 3 to this red rocket as we speak hahah
Sweet!!!!!
friggin clean
you left the side door of the gas station unprotected
EX Beast VII you should watch the tour mate. It'll make sense.
did I miss it then because I watched the whole thing
EX Beast VII you won't need it you settlers will take care of it
snappable junk fences and more junkfences mod my guy and im aware that this vid is 4 years old
Nice biuld. i kinda see it hard to reah 65k of each resources. You must be used a trainer.
How did you set up that scaffolding system? I can't get it to work with the junk fences.
rug glitch or place anywhere
Where do you find the scaffolding?
DLC
What a good looking Settlement :) So creative! Ill try to copy this :D +subscribe :*
If you don't mind my asking, what scrap mod do you use? Right now I have Settlement Tweaks installed, but this kind of looks like STS.
How can I have food and water for people in red rocket
survival practicality?
build in hangmans alley then...
How do you clip the walls down in to the ground?
Without mods, place the wall ON a rug, then sink a concrete pillar in the ground slightly next to the run, then hold down the select button while looking at the pillar, (A or X depending on what console you’re on), and it should pick up everything you’ve just put down and will allow you to sink the walls in the to ground. Effectively acts as a “place anywhere” type of glitch for the wall(or anything else you put in the run). Look up Norespawns ‘building glitches’ video for a demonstration.
Hope it helps. 👍
My red rocket has alot of rubble how do I clean it
Your kinda like norespawns (If you know who that is) just the way you both speak, sometimes you speak quiet and say "Uh" or "Um" quite a few times.
Great Video though.
You Brits love this game lol.
Sorry mate what? I’ve never even been the the UK 😂
Snolana+ Ah, Aussie.
It’s good
Can you get an elevator without mods? I'm new to the whole 'base building' side of fallout
TurkeyB Yes, it's part of the Contraptions DLC (I think)
which mode if for all that loot
cheat terminal does everything you could need haha
Thanks for your help love your vid
no worries. cheers
Csn you get these mods on xbox one?
If so, what are the mods?
Freya Thursby this was a while agin but I'm pretty sure I just had unlimited resources through the cheat terminal
How were you snapping those walls to the pillars like that?? Where you could move the junk wall with the pillar?
Mike Guarneri you use the rug glitch, place a pillar and then hold select
What cleanup mod is it pls ?
Probably Scrap Everything. But you need to be careful with it cause you can literally scrap what ever the hell you want. Quick save alot tends to crash the game. But its great for cleaning up stettelments
How do you get the unlimited resources mod
Task force blue sas I just found it in the Xbox mods menu. It just chucks about 60,000 units of every material is a container near vault 111. And it regularly refills it if you are constantly emptying it
Snolana what is the mod called
Snolana nvm I found it
21 average you get a mod called cheat container it has unlimited resources in a box beside the work table thing
You're volume is way low i had to blue tooth this video throughout my DJ system just so you would be loud enough to hear and not sound like it was a slight whisper while my phone was at Max volume
Is anything used in this video a mod?
No all of it is in the game.
How did you remove all the rubble
Crimson There's a mod called "Scrape Everything" that's how he removed all the rubble.
How were you able to clean up the station?
jesikebiking mods mate, glorious mods
What mods do you use ?
jesikebiking Clean the Commonwealth is the mod that cleans up all the junk and trash that you can't move in the vanilla game. I don't remember the full list of all the mods I use. If you wanna know the full list, I can check tomorrow morning and let you know.
to be honest this video makes me dizzy!
Just say you wanted the revenue 😂
Was this xbox?
Jack_Senpai55 yes
All fallout players are clearly Donald trump supporters, they always build walls
Quinn Heinz no no this wall in particular is a Trump proof wall.
I never do oddly. I usually give my settlers good gear and have more soldiers than anything else....Then again it might just be the turret towers
A Wall is better than a train full of peadophiles and mass murderers and rapists.
Quinn Heinz ave true to Caesar.
@@lauti2172 meh, better than Hillary atleast, plus he has done good for America
Makes a build video... skips half the build O.o
Loving Lotus Watch the video in 0.5x slower.
Do you own a comic shop in Newcastle?
Liam D'Amico hahah no
ha sorry you just sound a lot like someone who does. I subbed btw lol
Liam D'Amico hahah cheers.
Are you Australian
MoongoKING lol what gave it away haha
I could build it better than that mate!
HAPPY HAMMER if you say so. But have you seen the finished tour? Go look at that, then tell me what you think.
No one asked
What’s the point of playing if you build that trash? Totally unimaginative. A blind man could do better. Sad.
Use some common sense man and watch the final tour before you make comments like this. If you still think it's trash then feel free to be a douche about it there.
