Poco F3 does feel faster however and haptics on this A52s are the worst I've had on any phone I turn them off.
@@wizzgamer mind sharing whats wrong with the screen, ive been agonizing to choose between the f3 and gt master edition.
@@Red_Zol5275 I mean the screen was scratched up and stuff due to my own doing. I would choose the F3 between those phones the F3 is far more powerful, haptics are even better than the mid range haptics of the S21 it has high speed storage and 3 years of updates. The only thing the Realme has over the F3 is a slightly better main camera.
@@wizzgamer the only things that holding me back from f3 is lack of 3.5 jack & miui (currently using redmi note 4). Anyway thanks for the reply.
i just got mine last 2 days... all i can say for now... i am happy AF with it... :D
.
A52s 5G is good enough for my needs until next 3-5 years IF it can last that long... i don't see the point for expensive phones when we "might" need to replace phones every 3-5 years...
.
the only issue i have with Samsung's phones is that they don't provide "timestamp" option when taking pictures unlike some other android phones...
.
in summary... go for it IF you can get a better deal with your telcos...
.
cheers...
Believe me it will last you 3 - 5 years. I have an A50 2016 that lasted over 4 years, the only issue was the battery started to expand a little but it is still usable.
@@brandenalexander6038 ... hopefully it will... i'm having A7 (2018) at the same time... still going strong... might need to replace the battery this year or next year...

after 2 months of usage... the thought of getting my 2nd A52s 5G is there... having a Snapdragon chipset in Samsung's mid-range phones is what i like the most... the main reason i hate to get high-end Samsung's phones is without the assurance of getting Snapdragon chipset in my region...

Hey, nice video. Which one would you recommend buying, a52s or s20 fe if I'm gonna keep them for 2+ years
S20fe if it is sd processor
I would recommend the s20 fe, since the processor is a lot better and i believe that also the camera are better
If you can get the a52s under 400 bucks then go for it otherwise s20 Fe would be the better choice
Fe 5G.
If U buy S20 fe check the version 5G and buy the glass protection, because this phone have sh!t gorila glass 3. A52s have gorila glass 5, more stronger than S20 fe

The reason I got this phone is because it has water resistance, it can take a rain shower and an extremely rigid frame. It's a semi-utility phone that can take a hit to the ground with some scuffs, but remain unbent and fully working. Great for cycling.
Hi. Do u frequently used during cycling? Do u mount it at handle bar? Can u share if the camera still ok after frequent use during cycling? Thanks
Watching this on my a52s and great video
Bought this phone today. It was the OnePlus Nord 2 or this one. The OnePlus is slightly faster, but after 2-3 weeks of research the A52S is more consistent overall, and aside from the pros of SW and security update, Samsung's One UI is nearish stock Android.
OnePlus will be adopting Oppo's OS soon and what's the point of getting a OnePlus then and I'm a bit concerned with their SW and security updates.
I'm also considering A52S and Nord 2. OnePlus should also have a really nice UI
just sold OnelPlus Nord2 and thinking of A52S. OnePlus has not as good camera as in reviews, crappy google dialer/messenger and finally bug about missed calls- no info about it after 1,5 month of using it
@@markomarkovic5729 I got the A52S. Overall better value. Water and dust resistant, head phone jack, earlier updates, 3 years OS updates and 4 years security updates, better cameras, almost as fast, etc.
Samsung over OnePlus, OnePlus isn't the same anymore
I have been using the Samsung Galaxy A52s for the past month and I have to say, it grew on me over time. I like it. I talked about it in my review video, but I would say the camera is the weakest point. Still, the photos from the A52s look pretty good considering the price of 450 USD.
very true. the camera is terrible makes me sad. its good at anything but the cam

I see zero discussion that it now comes with WiFi 6 which is a huge upgrade esp now that cheap Ubiquiti 6 APs are available.

Poco F3 being the midrange king may lose in this beast. Except the processor, idk what else f3 can do better than this phone. Everything we need is here.
community, samsung is garbage when it comes to the community as it makes it nigh-impossible to unlock the bootloader, meanwhile with the f3 can outlive the a52s thanks to custom roms. also the design and screen, poco f3 is brighter, bigger, and has 360hz touch sampling rate.
Came back to say I've been using this phone for 5 months and it feels like a flagship
I've been using this phone since Christmas of 2021 and it's still going strong. I'm planning on keeping it until atleast the end of this year, maybe even longer
For some reason the S version in my country is 70€ cheaper at 330€ which is amazing
Bought one for my grandma. Super exciting!
So basically this is a middle finger from Samsung to all those who have bought the non s model.
Thank you for your expert evaluation. I bought the phone earlier this year and I'm very happy with it. God bless you.
Does it have installed the android auto app?
Nice review! Thanks! Sadly, in India, Samsung is still providing that 15-watt "fast" charger; and there is no screen protector pre-installed, too, which has been a staple feature in Samsung devices in India. 😕
But, given the price point, it is an exceptional device! Kudos to Samsung! This will heat up this segment for features like IP rating and longer software support for sure.
Quite beat on choosing this or the 12mini as it will be available for under 40k tmrw on sale with band offers
@@kardiacc If you ask me, my suggestion would be to go for the 12 mini. That is far, far better in almost all aspects if you can get that around 40k. But keep in mind that the screen is much smaller than the A 52s and that notch looks very big on that small screen.
@@kardiacc that is a difference of 10k rupees. If you can afford it, then the iphone would be good. But the galaxy is not far behind. I would recommend the galaxy but that is my opinion.
@@kardiacc Very different devices. 12 mini has an underwhelming battery and a tiny screen. The A52 is large, can last a full day with heavy usage.

So the 4K and 1080p 60fps video stabilisation is as bad as in the A52 / A52 5G 🤦🏾♂️.
Especially the front face cam, its even worse and the phone is full of bugs and bloatware. I have the 4g variant and sometimes i go into camera and it exited by itself, another instance is with calls. Sometimes ppl call me even when i am using the phone i it doesn't ring any at all or when the screen is off. I reported the bug but it hasn't been sorted out yet. I kinda wished i went with xiaomi becuz even tho they have bugs, they have better performance

I wanted a new phone to upgrade my good old s7 edge. Here in our country, the price difference between this a52s and s20 fe is around 80 dollars. I am willing to pay on that but unfortunately, we only have the exynos version of s20 fe. Should I buy this one or pull the trigger on s20 fe even if its the exynos variant 🤔
Get the A52s 5G. Whatever you're thinking, don't ever get the Exynos version. You'll regret your whole life especially because it's the Exynos 990, which is one of the worst processor in history
Don't listen to the other guy, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is the better phone (even the Exynos variant, which will still last all day ) It has better cameras and the Exynos is still overall the better processor than a midrange Snapdragon. You'll probably be happy with both phones though
S20 FE with Exynos has heating issues. I had s7 and bought a52s and I'm amazed with the phone 🤗 my s7 was already so slow and a52s is a beast.
@@franklingoodwin nah, get the A52s 5G. Both are pretty much identical except with the cameras and build quality. Other than that, they're pretty much identical. But the Exynos processor just makes it a lot more worse. Eventhough it's still a flagship processor, it's one of the worst performing processor ever and eats a lot of battery juice. Check out Golden Reviewer's Exynos 990 test with I think the S20 Ultra or Plus, I couldn't remember but it's just so bad against other competitors. Better go with A52s 5G since it has the Snapdragon 778G which is a quite good midrange processor and midrange processor wont drain as much battery as midrange one because they're not as powerful as flagship processors. Just stay away from Exynos except if its the Exynos 2100
Holy crap. I searched the exynos 990 performance and i was surprised on the performance. The overheating issue is real compare to snapdragon variant. I think a52s will be my next phone 😂

After two months of researching, contemplating wheter to get a realme or oneplus, I ended up buying this device. No regrets tho, I bought it at a very discounted price (300 usd, orig price here in the Philippines was 400 usd). One Ui 5 on Android 13 have so many features I couldn't ask for more.
I need a new phone as my Huawei P9 is wearing thin. After months of searching I think the A52s is a good choice. I've had a look at the Samsung S21 FE, I just don't understand why Samsung thought not adding a audio jack port to the S21 FE was a 'good idea'.
