There’s been a constant stream of new Ford Ranger variants released since the all-new ute was launched a year ago and now that extends to a new luxury flagship that ratchets up the opulence to levels never seen before in a Ranger.
The 2023 Ford Ranger Platinum brings all of the luxury extras seen in the Everest Platinum, including its lusty V6 turbo-diesel, but it’s also the most expensive mainstream Ranger variant yet.

You would never know the Ranger is over 1 year old, so few tests and articles about it. Truly a hidden gem.😅
Hidden gem indeed, with a V6 diesel developed for Land Rover and Peugeot.

I really have to ask though ...is this segment really necessary. The feeling is that is it too posh for the dirt? Overall excellent vehicle
They might be good at releasing models, but not producing them, still waiting on my raptor I order 15 months ago

Pitty there’s never any stock of any of the ranger range. Don’t know why they release anything it’s not available for probably 12 months. 🤦♂️

It's more than that now. I ordered one in July and was told to expect that in 14 months.
Just doesn’t look right. A mix of the front grill and the tall roof rails. Shame you need to pay so much to get the larger instruments cluster. The smaller screen in lower models is just second class.
A prop rod for the hood in a Platinum vehicle is embarrassing 👎🏼
No, it is not worth it.
I just picked mine up today .. I couldn’t believe how bad the front seats are !!! Absolutely no support at all .. and cheap feeling. And for the money ford could have also put some ambient lighting for the back .. nice truck but ford have taken some short cuts ..
The 20s have to go .. 18s with bugger rubber is the go
