The opening track “First Summer After” is a classic New Model Army road-trip song, full of twists and turns and adventures, and the music video was filmed and put together by regular collaborator, Tom Harding.

Found new model army at 12 years old when I started to discover my own music I’m now 57 all can say out all the bands I listen to and different genres of music I’m into their pure gold for over 40 years and in recent years produced some of their best albums with out any media hype or advertising, they have one of largest following all over the world people who been fans for years Gand children go see them and buy their records very few bands have ever achieved that in their careers , long live new model army one of the all time greats
Music got heavily influenced by my brother when we both lived home, i learned them when i was 16 now im 52 this year, still amazing, i listen alot bands from old times.
Ive seen them 3 times now, Decades apart...in the U.S. Great each time Ive gone.
I bought the first New Model Army album with my first weeks wages from my first ever job. It was 1984 and I was 16. Now I'm 55 & I'm still listening.
I highly doubt that you've found NMA when you were 12. They weren't even around back then. ;)

Since 1984 I’ve NEVER been disappointed with anything by New. Model Army or Justin’s solo work. I was lucky enough to meet him briefly, along with Dave Blomberg, when he played an acoustic set in Calstock in Cornwall in 2017. Not only was he gracious enough to allow me to have a photo taken with him, he looked genuinely surprised when I thanked him for the things he sings about, and the passion he sings with. What an absolute gentleman and a true inspiration. I saw him in an interview explaining how something might be good for one, but one might simply not like it. New Model Army? Good food and I love it! Thanks for all the years of surprises and at the same time utter reliability
I had the opportunity to see NMA live in Leeds 1990-- wrote a thank you note to band and months later received a beautiful postcard from Justin while their tour was in Donegal-- yes, a gracious man, amazing band, and wonderful musical legacy!
I've met Justin a few times over the years, he's an absolute gentleman as you say, humble and gracious.
Top class, as always.
They just don't seem capable of writing bad songs.

Been into NMA since 1987, my very fave band of all time, seen them live 100+ times and they never EVER disappoint! I keep waiting for that moment when, like so many other bands I've been into since I was a teenager and who are still going, I hear something that makes me say 'OK, they've had a great run but they're now running out of steam'... this is certainly NOT that song! Can't wait for Unbroken! ☺

As others have said, they continuoulsy fail to disappoint. Every new album is something to look forward to. Looking forward to seeing them again in April.
So happy to have discovered this! I’ve already ordered the album, and shall be looking forward to it for the next couple of months. Justin and NMA have been central to my musical identity since 1988, and while I have only seen them live once (Montreal), the gig is burned into my memory because of the clarity, intensity and true brilliance of the band live. So happy this album is coming soon!

I am still playing Sinfonia on repeat, I will only take it out of the cd player when this new album hits the streets. The production on this track is fantastic. NMA the only band still going that still matter.
