My suggestion for companies making tablets and want to release them cheaper? GET RID OF THE DAMN BACK CAMERA. I've owned several tablets -- no one is using the back camera. NO ONE.
and you look ridiculous if you use a tablet as a camera. like i’ve only used front cameras on my tablet for video games but the rear ones are completely useless and i’ve been using ipads and tablets since the ipad retina (3rd gen ipad).
it's not for taking pictures of your dog, but a lot of apps need camera access for their features, and without a camera a lot of apps just won't work, so it's more about compatibility
I do use back camera. I use my iPad for notes, it is useful to take a picutre of smth and then be able to easily draw on it (used often during lectures)
Both of the Alto games, as similar as they are in concept and game play, while also being slightly different enough from one another, have managed to consume numerous hours of my attention. Overall they both are aesthetically epic and just a blast to play, each in their own right.
Why Qualcomm didnt market the Snapdragon X chips for the Android gaming market is a mystery. It makes much more sense there. It would compete with the iPad Pro's M4.

The price is actually insane, its $499 for the base model. RedMagic has always been pretty good about aggressively pricing their products. The downside is you dont get a whole lot of spftware support so you know the device is going to be out of date the next year.
Android versions aren't that important for gaming devices so it should be fine I feel. 14 would prolly stay as a ceiling for a long time due to Google becoming more apple like recently anyway

I really wish I could see how a stylus works with this. My main use of my 4th gen iPad Air is digital art, but I’ve been interested in seeing how playing games on a tablet works. I also want to upgrade to something a bit newer since I feel like I’ve gotten my money’s worth after four years, but I’d really like to move away from apple products… but without knowing how well a stylus works (or even what kinds to look for… redmagic doesn’t have their stylus listed in their store as of this comment so I need third market or to buy “first party” from some shady website…. I’m not very tech savvy so I have no idea where to even begin looking.) I’m scared it could be a waste of money if I end up just sticking with my iPad and using this as a paper weight I sometimes load up a game on… Maybe I just need to wait until the device is actually released for more reviews where maybe someone tests out a stylus. Nah. X Elite chips, even on the high end, have terrible GPU. An M1 Mac will have a slightly better time than that chip. M4 will crush it further.
