Our adventure fell during Golden Week, a 7-day national holiday in October that commemorates the founding of the People's Republic of China. We explored some of Beijing's most amazing landmarks along with hundred millions of tourists and fell in love with a different culture. Hey Matt, thanks for watching! Yes national week is definitely the busiest (aka craziest) time to visit China but it was interesting to see all the people. Not so fun when it's raining and you have to navigate around millions of umbrellas though! lol I recommend it as a once in a lifetime experience. China is awesome though any time.

yes of course! I went to china town here in Sydney but it was so shit lol!! I know its not china but its as close as i can get atm

You guys were unlucky, national holiday week and smogg days... Some other TH-cam videos have Beijing under a blue sky and a lot more beautiful. Don't ever travel around Chinese holidays, huge difference.
