I purchased one of these machines and the presser rod was broken also the piece that sits on the rod was broken. Do you know where to find parts? I repaired
the rod and made the piece that sits on the rod I don't know yet if it will work. Thanks for the video hope you know where there are parts.

Thanks for sharing. I have a 145 H2 model and it looks exactly the same as yours. Would you know the differences between them? I thought it was the foot tension mechanism, but yours (the metal bar above the machine) is exactly like mine's. They are beautiful and great tools. By the way, which is this kind of belts that you use? Regards

Whether or not your needle positioner works after you install a speed reducer depends completely on your motor controller and it's software. The motor controllers that I have include a safety feature that says if the motor has performed more than 5 revolutions to make the sewing machine perform one stitch, then it assumes something is wrong. They are assuming that there is something wrong with the needle positioner, or the belt is slipping, or something else has gone seriously wrong with your setup. Rather than have the machine continue to run continuously looking for the needle postitioner to detect that the handwheel is back in the proper position, it gives up and says it will operate the motor automatically no further. On my particular motors, (Consew CSM3000 and Eagle EA550) they can't handle greater than a 5:1 pulley ratio. I added a 3:1 speed reducer and a 45mm pulley. That gave me a reduction ratio of 6 turns of the motor to one stitch. That did not allow the needle positioner to work. I put in a 55mm pulley. That changed the ratio to just over 5:1, so it still didn't work. I popped in a 65mm motor pulley, and the reduction ratio was now about 4.9:1 and it works great. It's still geared pretty low, and the needle positioner works fantastic.
