Brad singlehandedly keeps the Bon Appetit TH-cam page alive. There are other entertaining personalities, but he carries the bunch. I hope he continues to be fun, humble, and inquisitive. That’s what we love to see.
I love how Andrew was chill and calm the entire time talking and explaining but gets really excited after Brad's good net throws. What a good passionate man
I own several crawfish ponds here in Louisiana. Just fished first bunch of the season this past week, lets get it alive! Also can get you with a captain of a shrimp boat
Yessss It's Alive for finals season break time!! My whole family sat and binged a bunch of It's Alive to get into the Thanksgiving mood, might have to make that a tradition!
"Come and let's play together, in the bright shiney weather!" This was such a great episode and Alex is a top notch guy. Love watching people I'd want to spend the day fishing with.
Brad is great in this video series. His enthusiasm for seeing and doing new things is great. Way better than the over rehearsed and scripted major network shows.... AND props the editor and production team for great animations and humorous tags.
Man I went down to South Georgia for my first year of college and was introduced to low country boils, got my family to come down and try it, they’ve all been so in love with the dish we’ve been doing them for special occasions for almost a decade, best one in my opinion is crawfish, shrimp, andouille, shrimp, corn on the cob, red potatoes, and the freshest crab you can find. Blue, stone, king, etc, doesn’t matter which just make sure it’s high quality, and if it’s too expensive then just ditch it! Best part is you get to eat like a barbarian lol
Hilton Head is a phenomenal place to vacation.... great food, great for families.... the entire island is immaculately clean... nothing cheesy or commercially... the only thing wrong with it is we aren't there enough!
Growing in the Central Valley of California, we used to do this in the canals and rivers. My Pops actually made these nets by hand and we would catch any and everything... Fish Fry/Crawdad boils for days! Also, nice technique for a beginner, Brad. Homeboy Andrew is a great teacher/historian!
I'm in the valley in CA and we love fishing. Where would you go fishing normally for a good catch? So far the best results we've had were with deep sea fishing, not lake
In NC and only months with an R, I've kept 6 essentials on hand at all times when it comes to steamed oysters : 1.) Saltines 2.) Texas Pete 3.) Lighter 4.) Roll of Paper towels 5.) half a dozen oyster knives filed down or a 112 which I find easiest to use 6.) Lemons--- Cooler of Beer is a given of course.
@@freezeframeplease he’s probably on a contract unfortunately, but imagine brad and ba editor on their own channel !! Instant 1mil subs, ba should do a spin off if they were smart
@@allistar34 Kind of ironic when you remember the reason for losing some of their best content creators was because of paying white people more than POC's. I certainly don't blame him, but it's just curious.
I just want to add one thing about the stone crab, he said they just break off the claw and it regenerates so they might catch the same stone crab 4 times in its live, but studies show over half of all stonecrabs die after losing their claw and being released back.
Thank you . I always wondered about that . Sort of like the mortality rate of pest animals caught in live traps and dumped miles and miles away . Most don't survive but WE like to fool ourselves into thinking we didn't kill them but generously released them back to nature. Not so .
18:12 Holy crap! Just when you thought the video couldn't get more amazing, you throw this in at the end. That heron is a boss, I feel like someone should name it lol
Brother!!! Make sure you check out Charleston, I miss South Carolina so much! I’ve been in Tennessee for 2 years and holy moly would I give anything to be there with y’all man!! So awesome
I haven't been able to put my finger on it til now but id love to see Bead and comedian Chris DiStefano just hang out for a day. Feel like their personalities together would be tremendous content
I’m not a fishing expert, snow white net *staged* *set up* I was a subscriber, then the bipoc scandal. This channel now gives me anxiety vibes instead of the calming vibes I loved
The slow-motion shots at 4:54 with that relaxing music made it feel like SuperDeluxe's Stoned Mode for a sec. Great video as always, love me some outdoors Brad!
Goldens use to make those syrup kettles down in Columbus GA. We use to have one of them and a cane mill that was on my grandfather's farm. They started making them again as fire pits during the pandemic. I saw it on a news segment not to long ago. Wonder if this one is one of the antique ones or one of the new ones.
I thought he already did a crawfish boil with that one comedian dude who he went and caught catfish in the river with. Omg that episode was SO FUNNY!!!

I would add Rhoda. Those 2 are BA's only hope
Love and adore Brad, but Chris has his moments as well. 🤷🏻♀️
Careful, last time the others found that out they had to find a whole new crew lol
Andre Mack has breathed new life into the channel as well!
I Agree
I love how Andrew was chill and calm the entire time talking and explaining but gets really excited after Brad's good net throws. What a good passionate man
Brad is getting real comfortable on the water, this is like the 20th episode on a boat!
Wourder
He is the wourder lord
The consistency of wourder being in text is on a god tier
Great episode this guy was very knowledgeable and loved that he credited the people that were there before him keep it up Brad 👌🏼
We need Brad to do a Louisiana crawfish boil episode.
I can help with that, own several crawfish ponds. Just fished first bunch of the season this past week
bring Matty Matheson along
As long as they pronounce boil as “bowl” instead of “boyal”, I’ll approve.
@@jharj4 If I have to choose between Matty and Isaac Toups I'm gonna have to have Matty sit this one out
so he can boil more animals alive!

All, let's get Brad to see this!
Maybe toss in some snapper and drum fishing too
@blaise Can I come visit?
Andrew is an awesome dude. Would love to have a beer with him and cook up some mo' country boil.
Andrew was matched brads energy so well one of the best BA video ever

Glad to hear Andrew acknowledge the local Native Americans as well as the Gullah people and their influences on the region's cuisine.
He seems like such a cool and appreciative dude
yeah that was a great shoutout and I learned about a tribe I haven't heard of before. Win/win

Brad referring to the crab as a "lil meat wagon" will stay with me for the rest of my life
Some big boys in there.
I’m a simple girl. I see Brad doing Brad-like things and I click!
Dude this guest is so kind and thoughtful.
This was great. I've never seen shellfish steamed like that, on the metal slab covered in soaked burlap. Too cool.
Andrew was so cool and nice. Love to see it.
I've been watching Brad since the beginning of time and the things he does inspires me to do what I do today. May God bless him & his family 👪 🙏
Brad was always the best host/dude/personality on BA
this is the nicest guy brad has met with
Brad is just pure vibes. I LOVE it.

This is the real Brad in his element, that most of us want!!
I want him in my corner!! What an encouraging spirit!! Great coach💯👏
Andrew is my new fave. Soo much knowledge, so much love for his world. I want to buy him a bunch of beers, sit on a boat, and just listen.
Brad Leone and Claude Debussy, never thought I'd see that combination haha
Welcome back to SC Brad.
Been here in the LowCountry for 42 years, never heard of a Carolina Rooster or putting shrimp on a cracker.

So glad that you got to experience Hiltonhead. Such a unique and peaceful spot. So crazy to think it almost turned into an oil platform
Andrew is a really really cool dude. It was really fun watching him and Brad interact. Great video!!
brad doin brad things is keeping this channel alive tbh

and hire vinny back

Lowcountry Boil is what the restaurants call it, but we always called it Frogmore Stew and it's best eaten outside off a newspaper lined picnic table.
We call is Beaufort Stew also.
Andrew seems really fun to hang out with.
