I was real curious as to what your reaction would be on this one and I think you hit it on the head. I felt it was good, not great but good. when I hear these styles my 1st comparison is PMJ and Haley and Morgan..sooo..maybe unfair. But it was good.
It’s okay but you would like Janis Siegel’s Small Day Tomorrow much, much more. Her 1987 album (remember those?) At Home was nominated for a Grammy as best jazz vocal, female.
