That old man who would always chase you around disturbed me as a kid. Now that I realize he was distraught over his missing granddaughter… I feel bad for misunderstanding him.
Literally dancing to this as I do house chores. Love the live instruments, living for the nostalgia. God I'm thankful I got to experience this game when I did...
Actually it is karkori village there alot of tu Nelson underground like oot and you can get passed time here which uses the same melody as su song and does the same thing and the teacher has sheila icons on her shir
as a kid I made up my own lyrics to that track, about a baker islander lady and her own pot of batter that the Killer Bees would have written about her pastries getting stolen by seagulls. I used to sing along every time I was visiting the island.
@@Novarcharesk haha, not sure I'll have the chance to have kids, but someday I'll direct a maritime movie or tv show insha'Allah, and I'll write some islander kid gang singing the baker song, to have all the grown up Wind Waker fans point their finger at the screen like that DiCaprio meme
Wind waker and ocarina of time were the only two games that I’ve never completed when I was a kid. I’ve made it to the near the end (end of shadow temple for OOT, and then repairing the master sword for WW) And now, I’ve finally beaten both.
dude u need to complete ocarina of time, its a shame that you haven't, I finished that game for so many friends. Windwaker i got super close to the end, finding the triforce shards at the end was really lame and boring ngl. Ocarina of time and Twilight Princess are the best games.
Does anyone notice the similarities to not just kakariko village but clocktown? Everyone has their schedules, you follow someone to a mailbox, hell you even learn a song that speeds up time from a dancing guy sorta like that scarecrow ( could be a coincidence). OH and those little brats that follow you around are awfully similar to the bombers.
Yeah I just noticed it today when watching the walkthrough but I guess a lot of the small towns were inspired by other towns from other zelda games. Clocktown was deffs inspired by Kakiriko village and windfall island got inspired by both towns
@@TrinityCore60 I think that the land where Windfall Island was is the higher ground by the windmill in Kakariko and that said windmill now the bomb shop is the only surviving structure from before the flood
I just had the revelation that this is the kakariko village theme. You know how the Zelda theme is altered a little for every series? This is the kakariko theme but altered a little. I can't believe I didn't notice that but did notice Link's home island is the kokiri forest theme. Had to share somewhere as I've JUST realized this.
I also hear a difference from the original but the tambourine is still there, i think ots just a better quality one meaning they they rerecorded the song for the hd version Edit now that i listened to the og gc version again they definitely replaced the main string instrument
That phrase sucks aint gonna lie we should always try new things, even if it ends up in failure. We're not losing anything, two versions are available to us and we'll have a preference for one of them. They don't go in with the intention to fix a great song, Nintendo composers know better than this.

Don’t. He doesn’t even remember you as soon as he gets rich 😅
why doesnt he just get a job
@@sopa7maruchan He does, he just assumes you failed and broke your promise without hearing you out.
I would always avoid him and get super nervous whenever he noticed me, I always ran past him as fast as I could
He's the Mr. Krabs in Zelda
Fills me with unbelievable nostalgia of playing this game at my Nana’s house. She passed away this year and it hits home.

Same bro. This game is a historic nostalgia
This is why Ashly IS WAR-EO
Who is Ashly? The "youngest of ladies" lady, the two rumors ladies, the lady in orange dress, the thief girl, uhh so many!
Glad to hear that bro! It doesn't use real instruments though btw
Why do all these Wind Waker soundtrack videos have the most incomprehensible comments?
i have no idea
Jumanji: Snowboarding Edition
Idk about you, but all the comments look comprehensible to me
lmao
I don't see any incomprehensible comments
This song is great for studying, but also not, because it is so good at you can't stop jamming to it.
Man... That flute part really makes me tear up almost every time 🥲 but this song always makes me feel so much peace
I never realized it, but you can hear Kakariko Village theme here
I figured this one out a while ago. However I’d forgotten and literally just remembered again hence why I’m here
Actually it is karkori village there alot of tu Nelson underground like oot and you can get passed time here which uses the same melody as su song and does the same thing and the teacher has sheila icons on her shir
You hadn't heard the Kakariko theme?
If you just realized then maybe you should listen for OOT music references in outset island too… 😉
same here

Keep that. Teach it to your kids. It would be the cutest thing ever

Give us the lyrics ❤
this song always reminds me of skyloft from skyward sword
I always felt so peaceful running around windfall island
Man this song Gives off Such a Happy Tone I could just Smile From All Nostalgia Im Feeling Right Now!! :D
The Legend of Gaben: Wind Breaker - Another Quaint Island Village
This helps me get to sleep at night
Miss those nights playing this game at 3 am
Why am I crying ?👁👄👁
Any version of the Kakariko Village theme always makes me want to cry as well.
Very true! I may not even be sad and this song makes me tear up 😢
@@megashadow1390 it's so nostalgic 🥹
I played this while walking around my campus at night it was so fun 😂😂

Wildwaker and Twilight Princess are the only 2 Zelda games (on main consoles) I completed as a kid.

The Link the Windwaker Speaks of in the Beginning of the Game is Ocarina of Time Link

The Killer Bees! They were definitely a call back to the Bombers. They even play hide and go seek with you just like the Bombers!

Welcome to Windfall.
Or are we Windfall?
Welcome back to Kakariko Village....
Personally, I think Windfall IS Kakariko Village. It was always built on high ground…
@@TrinityCore60 I think that the land where Windfall Island was is the higher ground by the windmill in Kakariko and that said windmill now the bomb shop is the only surviving structure from before the flood
One of the best Zelda songs ever
Perfect for study
The last time I played this game was exactly a year ago I think I should just annually play this game every summer
I was so happy to se the boat of the title screan and chu chu potions + fast sail
This song makes me think of the area of a parallelogram
Sooo many hints to kakariko village in this tune, the entire B section is just a rip from kakariko village
Its literally a remix bro, same for village of the blue maiden
It took me forever to realize this is a remix of the Kakariko Village theme from A Link to the Past.
10/10 makes me walk around my room like an NPC

Also known as Kakariko Remixed
Always think of the stupid killer bees when I hear this song 😂
This is clearly kakariko village theme remixed lol.
Ya know, visual style aside, Wind Waker is the perfect successor to Ocarina of Time. Very similar style of gameplay, and especially music.
never played windwaker but i have planted so much c4 and gotten stuck inside other people with this theme playing
I can not stop tô listen tô this
I should not take that Acid today
Yay! Kakariko Island...wait what?
I don't know what they were thinking with the reverb. This is supposed to take place outside, right? Why does it sound like it's playing in a hall?
Me wondering, is this island named "windfall" island because of windmill and the hype town?
I was today years old when i realized this is just a remix of Kakariko Village’s theme
Kakariko village vibes
this island is the Clock Town of Wind Waker
No it’s the kakariko of Windwaker, the ost is even the same but sped up. It’s likely is kakariko under the water
13:53 14:08 Kakariko???!!
look how they massacred my boy
original >>>
Hate that they replaced the bell sounding instrument of the original with the that weird banjo
They are both Hammered Dulcimer's
what bell dofus?😂
I also hear a difference from the original but the tambourine is still there, i think ots just a better quality one meaning they they rerecorded the song for the hd version
Edit now that i listened to the og gc version again they definitely replaced the main string instrument
Please don't "update" things I love....

Why?
Why?
Why!?!
WHY????
WHY?????????
They bastardized an already great song.
Maybe they should have heeded the old phrase "if it ain't broke don't fix it".
it's not like they beat and hung the damn song. It's just faster.
I've heard way worse renditions of music in smash bros.

it sounds great, wdym. i think the live instrumentation adds to the setting and gives the celtic theme a much nicer boost.
