Guitar is killing it with mask. Oh my god. Bass solo was so catchy and groovy. Like that. I need more of their musics. Thank you for the great stuff
Machiya is a (baritone 3-steps dropped) guitar hero (dare I say Satriani-esque when he shreds) plus he's got soulful vocals and can even do metal/screamo!!! I can't wait until after I'm vaccinated and when Japan allows foreigners back in because watching #wagakkiband is on my bucket list!!!
I fear that we may have a very different concept of 'metal', Mr Ancient Metal Guy. I like Wagakki but Lovebites are a lot closer to my idea of a 'metal' band. I get that the ladies don't have to cover so much musical ground as Wagakki, but they seem committed to the speed metal genre. Machiya is a very talented player and singer! You definitely should check his band (M:a.ture) and his solo work (桜村眞 and 町屋). I'm sure you will love it!
@@venancioserrano yeah, it's true. I'm a bass player and I'm playing the guitar part on bass. The hard / interesting ones. Why? Because the bass lines are just lame. The band is like cool at first impression but then it feels like the "back street boys"... even the music is like all made by someone else without "the sake of good art" as inspiration... I feel it like that, but still cool
