I do really think when we fall in love with somebody, maybe love at first sight by appearance or something else,but actually we are not getting long with those things which are outside of this person's soul. love is love. many people, especially in my country, they judge a person by appearance, money, social status...all of things, the only thing they don't care at all is this person. They think they could cheat on their partners once they get bored in the relationship. it's sad.

Also, although the age Gap in my relationship is not as much as yours, but I relate a lot to what you're living. She also has a kid from a previous marriage... and so, It's blissful at times as you said and sometimes it's just more difficult. In my case, I've felt I have to try hard to change the trauma that previously married people carry, and for her balancing time between me and her son isn't easy either...
Anyway I just wanted to let you know I see you, I get the struggles you might be facing, and I also sense the love between you two, and I honestly think it's worth the work it might demand sometimes. Wishing you the best and lots of Love from Colombia.
