  • Using gasoline, carburetor choke cleaner and toxic chemicals on your hands is not healthy for the body not good for the skin on your hands and cuticles a lot of that absorbs into your bloodstream also. Baby powder works great and you can still go on a date not smelling like gasoline or carburetor cleaner.

    Thank you. :) I tried everything and this worked. Solvents. rubbing alcohol and gasoline are a complete waste of time and does absolutely nothing.
    What others need to know...
    First this method is not an instant gratification process. It will take time and a lot of work. I spent around 25 minutes in the bathroom before I got it off.
    I found if you simply mix the baby powder in your hands with a little water to create a mud like slurry, this works best.
    It helps to rub the baby powder slurry mix into the affected areas using a pumice stone. It seems to come off quicker this way.
    Don't be too obsessed about getting your hands wet under the tap. It's more about working the baby powder cake mix into your hands. It doesn't "dissolve" the expanding foam glue attached to your hands, but rather the objective is it helps to lift and peel it away from your hands in small pieces. Yeah next time, I will definitely wear gloves when working with this stuff, but at the end of the day, it all came off using this method when nothing else worked. :)

      Gasoline and carb choke isn't so good for the hands is it lol. I have used it & every cuticle of my hand had to be wrapped in Band-Aids. I worked in a car dealership 30 years as a manager and a salesperson and I also worked in the body shop that's where I learned where these guys hands are so bad and women could possibly go out for dinner on a date or whatever they may be doing was stinking hands of gas and carb choke you can't get that stank out but you can get the stickiness out with a little bit of powder and stuff I'm glad it worked out for you it makes me excited somebody actually enjoys it a lot of people giving me crap and I'm like really well do you want to go out with some girl after you decide to work cuz I can get it done in 2 hours looking like a champion and smelling like roses lol

I just do the process I did on this crazy video but really it works and then I use pumice soap and rub ice cubes between my hands because the coldness of the ice cube really helps get it off too don't know the science behind it but it works.

    I found the answer. Use a Gillette Fusion razor (or similar) and shave your fingers. At first I was using the back of the razor that has the single blade. Then I turned it around to the side that has the 5 blades and shaved my fingers very gently. Everything came off and there were no cuts or marks.

    This worked great for me. I would go straight to powder next time though.
    Moisture (read: water) is a catalyst for the curing process, so don’t wash hands first. Put the powder on first and allow the curing spray foam to bond with the powder vs. using water and it bonding solely to your skin.

    Believe me, absolutely no chemical or anything else will get this stuff off your hands once it's dry. If you work with your hands a lot and pick off the loose pieces it will come off in about a day. It's annoying to deal with for that day, but don't waste your time trying stuff to get it off.

      it's a simple process if you think about it all you have to do is put powder on the wet spray foam which absorbs into the spray foam which then makes it peel off like rubber cement so it really does work.

    my dad got spray foam on his hands and we tried many things to remove it such as as hydrogen peroxide, nail polish remover, corn starch, vinegar, powered tide, fast orange hand cleaner, WD40, sand which only ended up leaving his hands exfoliated, and spray foam remover from the brand lift off. all of these things only removed some of the spray and we are currently waiting on acetone which will hopefully remove the spray foam.
    EDIT: acetone also did not work, yet when the finger is dipped into it the feeling of spray foam on your hand is relived. But when you take your hand out of it, you can feel the spray foam again. i guess only time will work.

    • @bopitbull3957
      @bopitbull3957  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah but read the label on fingernail polish I had a painting company and a home improvement company and I'm not a lefty douchebag in any way but the reality is you're rubbing ether and different types of similar chemicals into your hands which are very toxic and cancer causing why do you think women have a higher cancer rate than men maybe it's because they use fingernail polish remover in so many toxic products that's why I did the video read the descriptions you'll understand why I did it this way no disrespect to you but a lot of people don't read the descriptions and they gave me these great ideas but that's why I don't use chemicals. I used to paint which is worse enough is it is but I already sold off my painting company and my landscaping company for a ton of money especially the landscaping company and all the equipment. I really don't want to be around chemicals anymore because I watch my mom die of cancer because of fingernail polish maybe but mostly because of chemicals people use on flowers and in your yard so I'm against chemicals all together that's why I did this video if you don't like baby powder then you can try to use some vinegar to do the same thing without putting toxic chemicals that absorb into your skin and then your bloodstream that gives you a higher risk to get cancer but yeah it does work I know for a fact. I use it to get super glue and computer paste off of rebuilt computers that I do so yeah there is some serious toxic problems there but I get it do what you need to do. I did this video for a reason and it was not to use toxic chemicals into your skin because your skin absorbs it into your bloodstream thanks for stopping by. Consumers that use toxic chemicals to clean their skin are the highest rate of cancer if you watch TV you'll see attorneys asking you to call them if you use toxic chemicals on your body so yeah that's what I believe you should think about thanks a lot beer comments I really appreciate it but nail polish is why women probably have more breast cancer than anyone else in the world.

    I tried the baby powder and it barely did anything. What you need to do is get you a new disposable razor. A 3 blade is gonna be better than a cheap one. Sit in the bathtub and soak your hands for a few minutes. Slowly and carefully scrape your hands with the razor. It's still gonna take a while, but this is the only thing that worked. Your hands will be stained yellow, but at least you can get most of the polymer off.

      If you got a lot of it on and only takes three to four times 20 minutes it's off. Try it before you hack it thanks for stopping by.some people say use gasoline how would you like to go on a date stinking like gasoline how do you think that date's going to workout.you have to put the baby powder on immediately before you wet your hands I didn't quite do the video right.because I already did an application putting the baby powder on first cuz it's soaks into the spray foam and then dries it up and then it comes off easy thanks again for stopping by.

      Sure it will I just don't want to marinate my hands in chemicals. In my hands don't smell like chemicals for 3 days. Scan and cuticles are all dried out your blood's got poisoned and toxins in it. This way you can go out on a date right after you're done and not smell like some mechanic that just dumped gas on himself but yeah you're right but that's the meaning of the video is get it off without smelling like chemicals or maybe put toxic chemicals into your bloodstream. I've been doing this kind of work for decades I don't want to put chemicals in my skin as much as I already have in the past. Unless somebody got the cancer is that all use gas to get it off for this and that they're all dying of cancer I'm not yeah at least at my age but a lot of my friends have cancer mechanics painters all of them not using gloves and using gas to get paint off their hands or spray foam that was the point of the video thanks clear comment.

      @@bopitbull3957 yea all true. the positive thing about gum spirits is foam is gone quick. gum turpentine toxicity primarily occurs by inhalation and not absorption through the skin. Obviously, skin is a much denser barrier. Inhalation is the danger in most of these distilled products. paint thinner, acetone etc. are much worse inhaled.

    • @bopitbull3957

      Hi Jc T it's a foam that you spray in cracks and then it expands and can be an insulation or to fill in something. Its very sticky impossible to get off your hands if you get it on yourself.

    The best way to clean your hands is WD 40 it instantly removes all the stickiness then just wash with soap and water

    • @bopitbullfishingoutdoors5810
      @bopitbullfishingoutdoors5810 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're right Richard I've been doing handyman work in construction work for 30 years I'm retired from it. You're right but that's not what the videos about Richard the videos about not putting chemicals on your hand and getting petroleum and toxic chemicals on your hands do your own video with WD-40 see if you get tens of thousands of views. But I will tell you this WD-40 absorbs into your skin and gets in your bloodstream and it is an olive oil by the way. Appreciate your comment but that is what my videos about not using gasoline and petroleum products that absorbs into your body. You know how many friends I have that have cancer that have done exactly what you're telling me that you should do it's not really that smart. You can use carb choke and it comes right off immediately and evaporates but you're going to get ether in your bloodstream and you're telling me that's okay. I'm blessed I don't have cancer because I've been very careful about being around chemicals that I've had to work with but most people haven't but if you want to run down that path brother you go ahead. Why do you think women have so much cancer cuz all they do is use acetone to clean up their fingernails they're poisoning themselves couple times a week thank you for your comment but I totally disagree thank you

      I think any kind of powder that's going to stick to the glue will work.
