  • Have you ever tried meatballs made from fish? Regardless of your answer, this is the recipe you need to try. In Sweden, we call these ”fiskbullar”, and the ones I make are packed with flavor and so soft that they just melt in your mouth when you take a bite. Delicious!
The fish I use in this video is pollock (saithe), but you can also use cod or basically any other type of white fish, or even mix it up with some salmon. Just make sure to get rid of all the bones, if any.
I use a piping bag to shape my fish balls, and then I bake them in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for 15 minutes. This helps them keep their shape when I fry them later on.
To serve, I make an incredible pasta with tomato sauce. And trust me, this isn’t your everyday tomato sauce; you need to try this one.
If you love fish and want to try something exciting yet comforting, then this one is for you. I hope you’ll love this recipe as much as I do. Enjoy!

Wauw wauw wauw again, Ivan! You really own this top dish! That is so elegant to use the heavy cream with pollock because pollock tends to get 'dry'. And I was looking for a sophisticated dish with pollock. Found it now in your kitchen and am going to make it, most certainly! I believe you when you write that the fishballs melt in your mouth! Love it already and thank you for the video, Ivan, and the effort you make to suprise us everytime with something special!

Thanks a lot, I’m so happy you like the recipe! 😁 Using heavy cream with the fish really makes a difference as you say. They get super soft and not at all dry. Can't wait to hear how it goes when you try it out. Cheers, my friend! 😁
