Also, begone imposter syndrome. You didn't have many lines, but you made the most of every one and it really showed. My kids and I love quoting "Sorry for...interrupting....but Ms Singh asked me to give you some...anti....septic wipes...?" and "I wanna believe in ROmance!"

YES! literally Isaac MADE the show with those lines! I quote them constantly!! few words, but when he did speak, it was worth! the! wait! also, there’s a lot to be said about face acting!!

A couple of weeks ago I got my blood drawn for some tests and the nurse said she was prepping my arm with antiseptic wipes and I burst out laughing because I was thinking of the Issac line and Tobie's delivery of it. . She looked at me like she was trying to figure out why I was laughing about getting my blood drawn, and I didn't even care!
“if you don’t tell anyone, you can have them” *puts them in the vlog for the whole world to see*

Hehe it’s now after the fact. Usually on any show, cast mates usually take something to remember the experience by. I did. I’ve only ever done background extra work in both a movie and a series coming out this summer but I took a couple things. 😋❤️

Haha it’s absolutely impossible to tell what Kit is like as a person from these vlogs… everyone else chats easily to camera, makes jokes, but Kit’s like the vlog mole who is absent for ages, pops up suddenly and does something funny/weird, then disappears again 😂

Kit has had 10 years in the industry so will have had advice from older, successful actors on rationing how much you show of yourself other than in interviews. And in those interviews he is very controlled in what he says. Realistically he is the one most likely to be a major star, and so his instinct is less not more when it comes to "unscripted" moments
@@hyperion9397 Also, Tobie would have recorded these on the days with many cast, but when he wasn't in front of the camera. Why is he not in front of the camera? Because someone else is, probably the Nick and the Rugby Boys.
He radiates classic Pisces introvert energy lol. Also, Kit seems to put 💯 everything into his performance while filming, he probably wanted to rest and conserve his energy between takes. I’d be exhausted working those 12 hr days where I was on camera most of the time 😴
The quiet depth of feeling, confusion, hurt, and self realization you did in season two with your eyes and face is breathtaking! Such little dialogue, but you were speaking so loudly without it. Bravo!!! Any season 2 vlogs coming????

Netflix actually gave Tobie a lot of freedom to do these vlogs. They were within their right to tell Tobie not to vlog, but they knew the benefit of it, and so they will simply allow him to do the same for seasons 2 and 3 on TH-cam.
I'm so glad we got the chance to get to know all these new and incredible actors and for you guys to be in the amazing show that Heartstopper is. thank you for making these vlogs and giving us a glimpse of all the fun you had 💜

I love how at the beginning of the vlogs the cast and crew didn’t seem totally onboard with tobie filming all the time but by the end everyone was like “hi vlog!! Wait look at me” and yaz realizing she wished she vlogged the whole time too. Please do it again
At first they didn't know if he got permission from Netflix and See-Saw Productions to do these vlogs. Once both companies knew that Tobie would not be uploading these vlogs until Heartstopper came out in 2022, they were happy for him to continue.
I bet the last part was recorded with the camera Tobie got as a gift from Kit hahahah that's perfect, i can't wait for more! 🥰🍂

I auditioned for heartstopper but got rejected but I’m so happy I did, I don’t think I’d ever be able to pull it off as much as the rest of the cast, thank you for inspiring me Toby and I hope we’ll work together soon ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I always wondered where people find auditions for those kind of big shows when ur not "famous", because I would love to make auditions but I don't have a agent or any clue of where to find those auditions 😂

@@Andrea-yq7sm you usually do need an agent or have to know someone who is working on the show. you CAN find completely open auditions but it’s really uncommon unfortunately. depending on the area you live in and your age/experience getting an agent could be fairly simple. id just do some research on it if i where you, if you have a local preforming arts center they will probably be able to help you as well. :)i wish you luck

honestly watching all these vlogs have really inspired me, i’ve always wanted to be an actor and have fun with my fellow actors on set. seeing the heartstopper cast messing around and hearing their stories about how they got cast are what’s keeping me going and motivating me to become an actor. amazing job on season 1 and 2, i’m counting down the days for season 3!!!

I really can't express how much I've enjoyed watching these vlogs. I am going through a really tough time in my life rn and heartstopper itself and all the content that's been made always makes my day and helps me becoming more confident in myself as a young queer person.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't get emotional it was perfect, thank you for being a phenomenal, kind and sweet person, I can't wait to see you in season 2!

I'm probably the last person from the HS fan base to see Tobie's vlogs! But I am happy that report that I enjoyed them immensely. It was so cool to see the cast behind the scenes just goofing off and being themselves. It was really interesting to see a bit into how they filmed the show. It was great to see the actors as people separate from the characters they played. Isaac was pretty quiet, but Tobie was not. So much fun. A few surprises: I would have loved to see more of Corin and the other guys who played the rugby lads. And while Joe was very prominent in the vlogs, I was surprised how little we heard from Kit. Well done Tobie! Brilliant. Can't wait for S2 and S3!

Its so cute and still surprises me every time to realise how chatty and playful and social you are compared to isaac, and its so lovely to see snippets of that with the other actors as well. Thank you so much for giving us a peek at the quality humans behind this incredible show.
Im so glad you all brought your realness and rawness to your roles, I can see why you were all cast, and I can totally understand feeling that imposter syndrome, because i think we live in a time where theres so much pressure to be grown up already and to have it all together already, and contantly comparing how we look and seem to others.. but that misses out the delishiousness of all the tender learning growing in the present moment that is soooooo rich, so much more facinating and real and beautiful than holywood beige, so once in a lifetime only, and so absolutely part of the beauty of life, and I'm so glad you captured some of that through the vlog too...
Heartstopper has been totally healing my heart, and these vlogs have helped make that all the more real in picturing what a world full of awesome queerness looks like from start to finish.. I have amazing elders I look up to, and know some increadible younger friends, but thanks to all this I get to re imagine my teenage years as if it had been a smoother time, and thats a good thing to feel and fill that love up on the inside.
Thank you thank you thank you to all of you for being so brave in making such a raw and real show, that depicts real friendship and caring for others, and now that you're all fancy and used to the limelight, I hope we still get to see the genuine teenage side of our characters in the next season and im sure we will because I think you are all amazing actors so it will only get better and richer as you guys go along exploring who these beautiful characters are. Looking forward to seeing you guys again in a year or sooner, however long it takes netflix to finalise production and give us the next heartwarming story.
