Yes, the back takes time to loc it's best to leave it alone. You have to be patient and let your locs form on its own time. You can't rush the process, lol

Yes I agree! Would it be better to comb them out and braid them up or just leave them?

@@issalocstyle I cut mine too when I find there thin because they may end up falling out or thinning more it just don't look right to me

@@chantysopretty righttt I’m glad u understand!! And I feel like a lot of people think I’m just cutting thin locs but I’m cutting the loc ends that ended up becoming thin BECAUSE of the beads I put on my hair lol but I’m glad u understand ❤️

@issalocstyle I would just leave them. The back was loose on my locs like yours, but over time, it loc'd up on its own.

I totally understand! My locs around my edges and my nape have always been more thin. I struggle with the ones around my ear and nape 😭 it’s like they’re loc’d but then they’re not because they are so frizzy because it’s a different texture than the rest of my hair

      Sameee. It’s so annoying😭

      @issalocstyle  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Yessss literally 😭 hmmm I might leave the bottom row in a rope twist since that seems to keep them loc’d longer

AMEEEN SIS! (TO THE END PORTION, HGA!) Also, I did this same thing girl. It's actually something I will include as a DON'T when I do a "dos and donts" video ... using loc jewelry/accessories too soon or early.

Agreeeddd and I’m so glad I feel a lot better about my hair it just look healthier because they aren’t thin at the end but i UNDERSTAND IT IS ALL PREFERENCE AND SOME PEOPLE LOVE IT BUT I didn’t like mines 🥺 lol

I mean loose naturals trim their hair so I don’t see why it would be a problem for us with LOCS🌚

It's actually recomend ... but I've permanently installed cowry shells to my ends so it's like 😩 I can't cut my babiiies! Lol maybe when they get longer, I can always install them again.

Also, spraying them before you go wherever you need to go and slight root crotcheting can help your bottom row sit how you'd like it. (If it bothers you too much)
I remember my short stage and how much I wanted my locs to do this or that or look like this or that. But watching your video, makes me miss my little guys once again! Haha funny how that works. Enjoy the short stages, it'll be gone b4 you know it.
Great job cutting your locs. I loved them eaither way! 🌞🌻

I would just leave the back row washing helps to loc and protective styles help too

The after looks more full and also looks like you have layers. I have microlocs my bottom roll experiences slippage 😅

A lot of my locs have thin ends but I’ve never had beads in them. My hand stay in my hair (can’t help it it’s so soft) the ends are damaged from bleach, dye and other things. I’ll just let it grow out and cut it

    • @NattyBabesBudgets

Same. I bleached my hair a hair ago and the ends are blonde. I’m going to just wait I’ll my locs grow out a bit then cut the blonde off.
