Sorry for the late reply…I haven’t been as active as I would like but I wanted to say that I see your comment and say that I have a reflection behind my head and in front of my head whether it’s a mirror or my camera. I recently improved my set up and am hoping to film for TH-cam the next time I retwist 🩷

Hi! If we are on the same page, the crochet love your talking about are the more permanent ones?! If so then no since these were very temporary just like some box braid extensions 🩷

It will unravel a little bit but your hair naturally adapts to continue to loc up every time you retwist and the retwist is just helping your hair form and stay locked up

I WAS using edge booster butttt I’ve learned since then and now use water and oil for a healthier retwist :) 💚

I use two mirrors! A large one in the front and one in the back. I attach my mirror to my tripod to make it adjustable but I used to stack a bunch of boxes till it was my preferred height as well :)

Back then my hair def loved a mixture of Water, Aloe Vera Juice and my fave hair oil as a conditioner spray but since then I have changed my routine to spraying every other day with JBCO Spray by ‘As I Am and washing my hair weekly which helps retain moisture :)

I wouldn’t say your not twisting tight enough because the new growth just hasn’t gotten used to being twisted up constantly! I def have that same ‘problem’ but I do know that if you look up videos on locksmithing and twisting the new growth up the shaft towards your root instead of down, that should help to cover the puffy. I hope that was a clear explanation 🥰💪🏾

Yesss!! If anythinggg stack them boxes! I had to do that before I used a tripod and it is trial and error to get the right height but if u have shoe boxes, laundry baskets, cardboard etc! Lmk what u have if you’d like 😉💕

hey babe!!! I don't use many products honestly. I haven't really been able to find anything that has been beneficial for my locs long term besides, aloe vera juice, so I base my daily loc spray around that ;)
