Hello, thank you for sharing your recipe and the instructions on how to do it. My sister sent me a recipe for stuffed sweet potatoes with turkey and cranberry sauce and this would work perfectly with that! I want to also say Happy Thanksgiving to all of the people who make all of the products we get to use for our preserving and cooking. I am so thankful for all of you! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I canned some organic orange juice last spring, when I was able to find the oranges. It isn't a lot, and we don't drink much of it. But I occasionally need that flavor for baking or marinades. I also dehydrated the peels to use in teas and to make extract, or for baking. I just got the idea this week that maybe I should spread some of that leftover cranberry sauce on my toast of a morning! I did try it swirled in my yogurt once--it was top-notch!

Thank you for showing washing your jars after canning. I see so many people on videos that just wipe them down with a wet cloth. To me, that is a no no and asking for trouble. I wash mine too. Just like a dirty dish. Your eye is healing well. Glad you didn't have any eye damage other than that. Looks like you took a direct hit. Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

I use cranberry sauce in my kombucha with either lemon juice or orange juice. It’s one of our favorites.

We just made cranberry jelly 2 days ago. Getting rid of the fine seeds had to use a fine mesh strainer after the food mill. Had to cook it down for awhile until it thickened.

Looks great! I need to check out the sales afterwards and do this. I never thought of canning orange juice. Whenever I do buy it, I hardly ever finish it because I only use it on weekends when I do not work. This would be great to do in smaller jars for future use.

It is very handy, because we really never go through it very quickly. I hate wasting food :)
