- The first Video from Boys Club- peaked at #2 Billboard in '89- Written by Joe Pasquale and Co-produced with David Cole- this was actually the first song cut for the debut album that i had written- and never would have happened if David hadn't heard it and thought ... Thats pretty cool ! $200K on this video- amazing how things have changed.
why is this song not played any more on stations today? Its a great 80s tune.....one of those 1 hit wonders but still a good track......gosh do I miss the magic of the 1980's!

classic. i remember this one on the radio back in the day. my girlfriend angelique and i thought it was so pop -- but in a great way. hard to forget. great song, the video must have been torture for that dude.
i was in Beirut,Lebanon during civil war there, like 10 years old, knew some english from school & the start of fm english music stations there. it was broadcasted & i loved it & memorized it since then, just love it, & love you guys, and thank you joe for sharing :).

Still have the Cassette, CD and 3 inch cd. In weekly rotation! God this song helped me thru those teenage heartaches! So glad I am in my 40's now! What do the kids of today do about Love songs?

Joe i just have to tell you that this is one of my favorite songs of all time, i listen to it about 5 times a week for the last 20 years no joke. I even made my band cover it lol love this songgg man great job!!!!!!!!!!
One question, was all the music recorded with live instruments or not?
Also did you ever tour as *The Boys Club*?
G- there was some programming on the tracks- drum basics were programmed although Pauhlino DaCosta played Perc which loosened the track up quite a bit- Marc Russo did the sax solo- Bruce Gaitsch on acoustics, Michael Landau on Electrics, I played the Keys & Bass as well as all programming and the Waters Sisters sang bkgrds- We did quite a lot of shows over a two year period but Boys Club wasn't really a band it was more of a production thing. Glad you enjoyed it !!
