I have this shoe and the Plaid 1.5. Both excellent shoes but out of the Chinese brands my preference is the 361 Degrees Furious Future 1.5. It's a firmer midsole which agrees with me and it is super responsive. Great review. The Xtep 160X 6 Pro is a very good shoe too. I recently bought the Qiaodan Feiying PB 5.0 which should arrive before the end of the year. I can't wait to test it. I really enjoy your channel and the way you explain things so clearly.
First of all, I am very happy to see the blogger's recognition of our products. Feiying PLAID 1 generation is indeed a little weak in the upper wrapping. But later it was updated to 1.5 generation, the material was upgraded to knitting, the breathability and wrapping are good, the main change is that it fits the foot better. Every step of landing and stretching can be unhurried. In addition, the new 2nd generation has been developed and I believe it will be officially launched soon, so you can pay attention to it then.
Chinese brands have got some amazing shoes.. I got two pairs from Li Ning and the quality is just amazing.. People are just blinded by the major big brand names and missing out from the lesser known brands..
@silaabuor there's some pretty nasty bias against Chinese brands as well- whenever I post on instagram there will be someone who says "they'll fall apart tomorrow" -people refuse to accept that they make great stuff
i paid about 200 sgd ~230 aud. using it mainly for long runs with tempo inserts and gosh, i think it is an alphafly fighter. but the brand logo is a bit weird but hey, nothing's perfect.
@godjira1 it's one of the small drawbacks to it- I've noticed that they have another more dynamic logo down the side of some other models, similar to a saucony or nike tick, if they embraced that then surely they'd sell heaps more 😁
@@jogoncrago I'll actually grab these X step 6.0 pro while the sale is on. Test them out and maybe use for Osaka 2025. I just picked up the cloud boom strike so this could give me a different option.
when you said 260 dollar, is it really comparable to the latest super shoes in the same price range? plus there's version 1.5 already where they fixed the lacing problem. I also see a lot of discount.
@rail_atvj6870 definitely in that same tier of super shoe- got the bounce and compression, and for $260 compared to $370 it definitely wins on value every day of the week 😀
@boryahL here in Aus theyre $100 cheaper but if they are matched in price where you live I'd lean towards the Adios 4 just based on the slightly better heel lock down (although there's a 1.5 upper upgrade of the plaid available) the Plaid is also a smidge softer if that's your preference.

@gilbertblythe1011 much appreciated- I've got the feiying pb 5 in hand, waiting to do some sessions- looks pretty good 😁
@@jogoncrago Fantastic. That's fast! Looking forward to your assessment of the shoe.

@罗罗罗-q2e I did see the 1.5 version- looks like some nice changes to a great shoe, very excited about the second version 😀
When is the release date for plaid 2.0?
I have the 1.5, may I know the heel height?
@@inabag2024 It's listed at 37mm heel, 30mm forefoot.

After this review I’m off to buy it now as we speak.
Nice work mate. Pretty interested especially at that price point.

Great review. I just ordered it.
Waiting for plaid 2.0. Please check their feiying pb5 newly released shoe comparable to vaporfly
@kenvysmiguel8817 yeah I'm eyeing it down- I've still got the pb4 to reveiw as well 😁
@jogoncrago nice. It is size smaller so you need to go half size up. I hope they fix it in the pb5.
please try the 361 degree flame 3.5
@@nujraoczon2192 I've got the 3- just arrived- will get a reveiw out soon
I'm based in Asia, and I got a pair at half the price of the New Balance SC elite V4, and so, so much more enjoyable too.
It's in my " wish list " together with the X-step . Also a Chinese brand .
Which Xtep model you going for? The 160x 6 pro has just released and is looking pretty good

In Asia, you can buy it for around $120.
May I know where
@hypedkid86 at taobao with discount event(11.11 , 12.12 etc)
Thanks for the info🙌🏻

are this like alpha fly 3? expirience?
@nujraoczon2192 in terms of bounce and comfort definitely- maybe not quite as responsive through the midfoot without the airport. Definitely softer
i cant imagine paying over $200 for shoes on Aliexpress. 😅 i wonder how high margin is...
@LiveYoung0 margins probably as high as Nike, Adidas and all the rest 😁
@jogoncrago as I'm aware, how high Nike margins are, but they also put alot back into researching next generation foam
I have this one. Could be too soft for some people.
Do agree there- very glad they have such a wide base to try compensate.
