I've been saying this for awhile. 300 a day is still not enough. I know why they limit scrip, because they don't want you to keep by legendary from the scrip vendor but I like to craft my legendary's. Being able to craft basically once a day is just sad. I think the perfect fix for this would be to let legendary modules drop during major events like treasury notes and legendary cores.
@@kennethhuffman3754 100% agree. the argument for more scrip is bc now we are going to need to use it to buy more things (modules and steel). maybe take away the ability to buy legendaries, they're f'ing random anyway, who cares? at the very least, we need more resources for modules so that scrip can be used to buy mats. i swear Bethesda is great and single player games with a solid end point/story, but they need to stop after 76 with the MMORPG genre. EsO found its footing but never really exploded and now 76 is an end game grind fest with a limit on your ability to grind for endgame materials.
@@FP194 Maybe don't be a cheap asshole and minimize the dupes. Don't sit here and protect them and act like Bethesda is SOLEY to blame. Dupers and hackers will ALWAYS exist. Only thing we can do is minimize the damage. And as someone from the community you should be actively against it no matter what.
Bethesda keeps adding more bells and whistles to the legendary gear system but really it needs to be entirely reworked. It’s ridiculous that after killing the 3rd SBQ the area is littered with legendary gear just dropped because it’s garbage, it’s indicative there’s a fundamental problem with the whole system.

All the 4* stuff is completely unfinished though, its why theres currently no source of the shards, and only 2 weapon effects and 1 armor effect even show (Also, when you were listing the 4* effects, you were going off the old list, none of which are actually in the new list of 4* effects)
Surely they'll change the inability to sell and drop these weapons and armour pieces. I can understand things like SS armour being locked in, and atom shop skins etc.. as you either purchase or earn them through end game means. But outside of that.. there's no reason to lock them in, we are already starved of effective module grinding and bathing in core outlets, not to mention a lack of daily scrip. It all needs work so I'm happy its being delayed slightly.
@@semberspirit this'll damage the playerbase. One of the main reasons I play now, is rolling and selling legendary gear.. no point in continuing if they lock out new content. Already a pain having to un skin certain gear to trade it. Its like they have all the right parts, but have to build it wrong.

Thats fine, I love the 4th star is just a MOD to add, because my Guns are Perfect, main weapon is a Bloody, Fire rate, Less Vats action cost Fixer, I really didnt want to have to roll NEW 4 stars Fixers again till I got another god Roll.
They will probably have a NEW or maybe old vender sell the shards and New 4th star Plans, But it would have been cool to obtain the new 4 star plans threw a story line though.

Just sell your 3 star god rolls as normal....people will still by them. Then when that person is satisfied with what they bought they'll just add their fourth star.
Going to take an educated guess and say that this is connected to the Zetan content, which will be where we will initially get the legendary shards needed to craft the fourth star.👽
I’ve had some luck crafting legendary weapons but crafting non Power armor pieces has been bad for me, especially arms. I don’t see why they couldn’t have let you keep the primary attribute, whatever you prefer and re roll the other 2 stars. There’d still be RNG involved just a better chance of getting something wothwhile
Ikr? I think they should let you just craft legendary items as soon as you discover the Overseers camp and let you pick whatever legendary attributes you want, as well as giving you 1000 levels' worth of exp, every single item and plan in the game and a "kill all" button...

@@kennethhuffman3754 TSE is definitley still possible, I crafted a TSE Fixer a few day ago, you're probably thinking of legacies. The explosive effect can't drop on energy weapons, though it's been that way for a while now (since January 2019).
@@kennethhuffman3754 could be they're just misunderstanding legacy weapons? you can't get explosive on energy weapons anymore, but pre-existing ones can be traded, due to them doing their full damage instead of 20% in their explosion.
I would love to get back into the game, but it would take a lot more than another star I didn’t need and a few more IOUs I didn’t want. Hackers had 5stars after launch so this is nothing new, bethesda needs to deliver some actual content rather than handing us their spit-polished purse-candies. @@damianphelps Honestly this game is set up for failure cuz Bethesda basically abandoned the team and only left the bare minimum to keep it supported. For Honor is the same way. We just gotta stick with it and HOPE TO GOD that after Starfield they'll give this game more support and developers

Plus we need a way to lvl up guns. One example would be to spend script or something to make a lvl 40- a lvl 50. That would be great change

It is a great new mechanics to lock in your favorite weapon while making it even more powerful. However... Why give us even more power when current content is piss easy?
@@FP194 I can't argue with your hypothesis. All adding the new effects (which are poor at best, and trash at worst) has done is to dilute the chances of you getting what you want.
My guess is there will be enough complaining about this that it will change by the time 4 stars show up in the game ....... they do this to counter the dupers, but in doing it, they really cut the nose off the face of the regular players as well

why would you need that ? the fourth star isnt random, so you can make your most loved weapon a tick better.....trading a medicore weapon for a higher price just because you slapped a fourth effect on it wouldnt even work, given that the buyer can do that himself anytime.....but i think most "traders" still try to sell shitty fixxers for 10k caps.....someone should tell them that every player can craft them in masses now

Shards and the 4star mods are rewards for Bosses like SBQ and Earl only right now until they finish tweaking it

They definitely won't change it. Making 4*s undroppable and untradeable is their way of counteracting duped items and real money trades.

Kneecapper was my favourite legendary prefix in fallout 4
the harvester was a griefing machine high repetitive stagger chance, no one on one was fair anymore, just sad for the target

Can you still take to the railroad station & trade in for scrip, if you wanted? Some weapons can't be traded in for scrip.
Concerning current weapons: If you have custom skins/paints on them you can't script. Just set it back to standard and you should be good.

Sorry to say this but you can't get two shot and explosive on the same weapon anymore.

The shards are probably acquired by scraping 4stars? Same could go for the mods
I'm not saying it won't, but there has to be another way as you can't make it 4* without a shard. I'm assuming 4* aren't gonna be drops.
