- Decided to take my beautiful mother fishing to let her relax a bit.. Got on some nice Shellcrackers and Bluegills.. Using Grass Shrimp, Red Worms and Crickets, we grabbed the cane poles and went to work!!! Enjoy...

@@bubbasmith4698 I don't mind at all... I think the water was about 7 feet deep or so, so we were probably fishing about 6 feet down... And no we weren't using split shots, just line and hook... Eagle Claw Aburdeen size 1 hooks...

My favorite fish to catch is the bluegill!! And eat also!! I don’t know where your at but it’s in the south. Here in southern Michigan our way of catching them is casting to them with a slip float and a red worm or cricket or artificial. Our water is clear and if you get within 15 or twenty feet of them they spook or just won’t bite your hook. We have red ears in some of our lakes that were stocked years ago. Your mom and you got a nice catch👍
