Retailers are very sneaky. You the buyer has to know how much a product sells for to really know it’s a deal. For example, a gamer would know that most new games are $60 - 70 at release. If you wait a few months you can buy it for $50 or less. There are a few exceptions like games published by Nintendo and a few Sony exclusives etc. If you can snag one for less than $40 is definitely a great deal. Yet many people don’t know this especially parents.
I hate that they put out physical games that are unplayable without a patch. Defeats the entire purpose of collecting games if you can't play them years later.

I bought my TV during Super Bowl time. During that time the older TV models would drop drastically in prices. I looked at Best Buy and compared the TV I bought with the newer model and there wasn’t many changes to the newer model so I bought the old model and on top of the price drop it was on sale. The sales person at Best Buy also told me Black Friday is the worst time to buy TVs because there’s really no deals as you were just showing in the video. If I do black Friday shopping. I normally go online and have my items shipped to me. Going in the store where people act like animals. Even when there’s regular deals going on people act like animals like the trying to get the last TV in the store. Great video Reggie. 😊

Just to help clarify your Target video. I worked at Target for years. On Black Friday, they would print out specific "Black Friday" signage. Some of those items, if we had enough in stock and in distribution centers, would stay on sale for the remainder of the week, until Saturday night when the new add is set. What actually happens is that the stores stock up on these items, and then they want to sell them all. If you watch that clip, it is a sale sign underneath. So that item went on sale during the Black Friday sale, and would have remained that price until Sunday. It wasn't so much "ripping off customers" as it was preparing for the day after Black Friday. There was probably a third sign under there with the everyday price that was $50 higher.
And that Wal-Mart tag (worked there too) is not a Black Friday sale. It is a roll back. The price has been lowered, for good. So the tag is the new price. Nothing to do with Black Friday. Yes, some deals are sales that have happened before and will happen again after Black Friday, but people are really over-reacting on this video.
You definitely have to do your research and compare sales at different retailers. Target had some killer Black Friday sales this year. I bought my first countercades as well. That Marvel vs Capcom one was $99. Target almost screwed up my order when I went to pick it up. Had me waiting for an hour but came through. Target pricing differently online vs in store, is stills going on. happened to me today., Had to pull up the app so they could "Price match". Tho I had to point out that the app said that the "deal/special" was also in store and had to point this out to the person.
My local bike shop did this years ago where they marked everything up 12% - 20% and then had a 10% off sale. I needed some chain wax and took a closer look when I got home and they put the new sticker tag very carefully on top of the old one. But you could still peel it back and see that they marked it up a dollar so I was still paying $0.30 more than I normally would.

I wouldn't be surprised if they re-released Sonic Superstars with the bonus digital stuff and more down the line.
I got one for you , I went to Walmart over black Friday and got some transformers the tag was 24.97 and they came up for 6.00 but they wild thing was these was ones that just came out . I went to another Walmart in the same area they had the same ones for the regular price.

Picked up another copy of Goat Simulator 3 on PS5 for $10 for a Secret Santa gift at work (stupid fun game), Mega Man Battle Network Collection on Switch for $37, Dying Light 2 for PS5 for $20, Moonscars for Switch for $20, Mario & Rabbids Sparks of Hope for $15. Deals weren’t mind blowing, but some were decent. I was mostly mad seeing some recent pickups getting deep discounted after I already purchased them in the last month or so.

Golden rule, even if it's a "sale" take a moment to ask yourself if you'd be willing to spend that amount at a regular time.
