Been using this kit (twin pack) for 3 years and moved it into 3 helmets in that time. Been brilliant and worth every penny.

Hi Mark, after watching your review, I bought one of these and it was delivered yesterday. Set it up and then took it out today for a try out. What can I say, really pleased with it. Build quality is excellent, really good sound, (like you I like to listen to music when riding) sync's nicely with the bike (CF700MT) and the phone for Google maps. For £52, what's not to like.

Good product review, I have had the Fodsports FX8 for a couple of years, and it has been very good. I tend to use it for sat nav directions and group riding. Funny enough I was asked by a couple of riders the other day what I thought of the Fodsports. On my other helmet, I have a Cardo Freedom unit, and I haven't really found the Cardo to be worth more than twice the Fodsports unit.

I have a Lexin B4FM and its very good, but does have a massive downside. It cannot connect to a dedicated Sat Nav (TomTom) and chat to fellow riders. Its one or the other. I think this is due to not having duel channel Bluetooth. It can connect to phone and chat. Is this the same?

Thanks for the review Mark. I’m looking new motorcycle comms and don’t want to spend hundreds. Have you tried mesh intercomms? I know they are more money but is it worth it? Cheers

Hi Pete no I've never heard of them ...all I'll say is my fodsports has been great for 2 years with no problems....I've heard of many people who have problems with the expensive makes ????
      Best wishes mark

@@markpulling12 Mesh is supposed to be a superior alternative to Bluetooth. Very good if you ride in groups apparently. And yes my AGV ark intercom ( made by Sena ) is very average and was pricey. The fodsports do look good and really well priced.

Hi Mark if riding with a friend and the range causes the signal to drop out? Will it automatically re-connect or do you need to start pressing buttons to regain connection and can the sound penetrate earplugs.

Thanks mate. The FX4 couldnt be more suited for your helmet. Not sure if you bought it to suit helmet or you bought helmet to suit device. Or just pure coincidence.
