Can’t grind on surfaces while parkour BUT YOU CAN SURF ON THE WATER??? Can’t manually double hand web zip/ there’s no creative ways to pull yourself upwards to start swinging (just slingshot or point launch) no web tunnels thru shops/ windows/ helicopters. All of those things were missing and it was what I really disappointed about, that’s why the game didn’t blow me away and didn’t deserve game of the year
Honestly I’m so glad u mentioned the combat man cuz this was what I been saying I was really disappointed cuz not enough was added. you can’t bloody double/ triple finish enemies or even dodge 2 enemies at the same time, Lack of button combination is what killed this game, it’s the same spam one button. You’d think Peter who’s been spidey for almost a decade will be more than one dimensional on how he fights. Heck even the damn black suit there’s no damn difference to how Peter fights or dodges, it’s the same animations…. apart from rage mode but outside of that, ur playing the same way.
To me the biggest problem with this game's story is the lack of focus. Similarly to Sam Reimi's "Spiderman 3", where you have Harry's descent into madness, the sandman's story of redemption and the venom's story with Peter, the photographer and Gwen. It's the same here, it tries to focus on Peter's friendship with Harry, Kraven's plot of the hunt, Venom's plot with Peter, Mile's plot of forgiveness... and the end result is a mess that doesn't properly develop any of these. On top of that, both from a gameplay perspective and storywise they failed to implement two Spidermen in the same game. It shows visibly on the lack of Miles in pretty much most of the story. Especially on moments where he trully needed to be there but because of plot he wasn't allowed to interfere. They also threw his way the worst part of the story, which is a shame, cause I genuinely loved his "coming full circle" with Martin Lee, yet it was concluded too early and he quickly came back to being irrelevant. Not to mentio Kraven's complete lack of PRESENCE in this game. It felt to me as if the story kept telling you "This guy is badass, be impressed" over and over until he was dead. And also, killing the remaining sinister six OFF SCREEN? That's just disrespectful.

Switch scores with Miles Morales. There's no way Miles Morales is better then Marvel's Spider Man 2. Marvel's Spider Man 2 is objectively better then the first 2 games so it's objectively a 9/10 or 4.5/5. Miles Morales should have gotten 8/10 or 4/5. There are 2 things I have to correct you on: 1) Peter can't have the symbiote longer since the longer Peter keeps it then Harry would be week. You saw him using the cane which shows he is running out of time. So Peter has to give it back eventually. 2) None of the games are going to get cancelled but rather get delayed. I beat and completed Spider-Man 2. I just started a new game plus. I didn't realize how many alphabet squad references there were in the game. I remember the school mission to help a guy ask another guy to go to Homecoming. But there's actually quite a few more. I really hope Spider-Man 3 ditched this inclusion. Why does anyone's sexuality have to be included in a story? No one cares, period.
I personally think it's nice to have any representation tbh but I could have maybe seen your complaint if it was something of the lines of does anyone need to see a love story side mission
@@another_filmbro That's my point, why is it important to include it for an NPC. Peter and MJ is the love story in Spider-Man. The thing is they know kids are going to play it so it's another way to expose kids. Luckily my son just didn't pay attention to what the NPC said. I have no problem with what someone wants to do, just don't try to get kids involved or expose them to it.
