- In this video we will dive into the trigger frame assembly (lower) of the Thompson Submachine gun. There are only minor differences between the M1/M1A1 and the 1921/1928 Thompson trigger frames.

Thank you!
Thanks for the video! It was a great resource to reference detailed construction of the Thompson for a 3D model. I wish you the best health
Sadly, he passed. His legacy continues with these videos, which is exactly what he wanted.
@@NorthwoodsShooter I see, I'm sorry to hear it. You are correct that his legacy lives on; we will add an homage in the form of a stamp, on our 3d model.
Thank you for the response, have a great week.
Being as busy and backed up as you are it’s nice that you take the time to do these videos thanks
My pleasure!
Thanks to you i've been able to fix my Thompson someone assembled the wrong way!
Beautiful piece of machinery. My dad would have loved this video, he loved how guns/rifles work.
It makes me happy knowing that your Dad would have loved this video.
Good Morning Sunday Morning! I knew I recognized your profile.

Just a heads up; I subscribed to you channel the recently after finding it. I love the vids been looking for knowledge like this that no one really want to share.
Today I had to resubscribe. Idk if TH-cam did it or not. Thank you again for knowledge. God Bless you brother
I have been having a problem with TH-cam deleting subscribers.
Great video and beautiful gun looking forward to more videos
Thanks.
I’m sorry to hear 😢
love your videos
Thank you I'm glad you like them.
Massive piece of steel for the receiver. A lot of machining. This has got to be the most expensive SMG in WWII.
Yes it was the most expensive and it is massive.

@@MA-lq6eb YT is playing all kinds of games to suppress 1A/2A content.
@@BWEFirearms Hmm🤔...Shame such a Big & Already Mega Rich Company can get paid off so EZ by Tyrants!? U know YT is owned by Google(Alphabet Co.)...
@@MA-lq6eb I know. it's sad.

they are seem a one indistinct block of lead melted tigether...!?!

I’ve seen people use ar15 hammers in semi auto reproductions, and I would like to see a forced reset trigger on these
An AR15 hammer can not be used in a 1927 (semi auto) Thompson.
@@BWEFirearms they can in a 1928 Thompson lower
@@lilrobi45xxx42 I have never seen an AR15 hammer used in a 1928 Thompson. If you have links I would love to see them.
@@BWEFirearms ok give me a sec

If you are still around, I’m having trouble with my semi auto m1a1 firing pin.
I would like to see a tour of your shop
As soon as I can get it cleaned up I will do a tour of the shop.
@@BWEFirearms I seen the Kennedy tool box. Plus I think that is a Bridgeport universal milling machine
On the frame latch retaining pin how does that stay in place? I'm building one from a parts kit. I was told some were peened with a punch. Is that correct? Thanks!
The grip panel holds the pin in place.

Thanks.
You can buy 80% Thompson's?
Yes, there is a company who makes them.
I've seen that circle that makes you look stupid on a few 1911s. 😂
I've seen that mark too.
American Weaponry.
