Thank you. For being a true loyal citizen. No matter what our political views. We all love this country and should support and pray for our leaders. That is showing true patronage. God bless you. God bless the USA and the World.
This is an inspiring video-- these kids know more about the issues in the US than most adults. Thanks to Ron Clark and his staff for educating our future leaders!
would like to say that your students should know they are wonderful roll models for all children wanting to succeed. All children should strive for their personal best everyday and encourage eachother along the way. I believe that ALL efforts that inspire our children to travel in a positive direction is of great importance. It's tough to inspire today's children. Bravo as they are all our future!
To all of the haters who dare write something that sounds hateful....shame on you! Do not be envious. IT IS ALL ABOUT THE CHILDREN, not Obama even thought the song is about Obama. I am at great teacher at an inner city school, and I understand the meaning behind these children. I applaud ROn Clark for working with them. DO not hate, appreciate.
These kids are so popular theyre on CNN and now they get to go to Obama's inaguration and meet Obama himself while performing at several balls and at the inaguration itself. They deserve it, theyre song is so incredible and true, I was blown away when I first heard it. Man I wish I were in their shoes.
I remember this song when Obama was first running in 2008. It was a really catchy song! They kept playing it on pretty much every single news channel. Probably mostly it was on CNN. It was stuck in my head and I just kept on singing it. But after a while I kind of got sick of it, LOL. They really over did it. They just played it too much!
I AM SO PROUD OF YOU ALL. GREAT JOB!! YOU ALL DESERVE IT. Enjoy your full LENGTH TV SHOW on my you tube site. YOU ALL DID GREAT! LOVE YA, AUREA McGARRY
@crw305 I believe that this subject is not one worth arguing over so I say the best policy here is to agree to disagree. Thank you for taking time to comment anyways.
Congratulations!! You all deserve it!! Watch Ron Clark and his amazing students SING, DANCE, TRAVEL and LEARN...on my TV show episode we did together. Click on my name here to see the TV SHOW...ENJOY!! Aurea McGarry
What, exactly, is your problem? These kids worked hard to create an articulate and informed song that expresses their views on a particular subject...and you couldn't even be bothered to form a complete sentence or even use proper punctuation. Who exactly belongs in the jungle, then? Congrats to all the kids at the RCA. I work in your neighborhood and I know how tough it is to grow up in the area where you live. Keep your hard work and determination up!
This is fantastic!!! You are the one that got it twisted memama2. Ridiculous and negative. You are part of the reason why this country has such a hard time making progress.
And???? what are you trying to say. If they did send their children there maybe they would be as smart as these kids. Education can happen anywhere if caring and concerned staff is there.
Yes, Oprah is educated and a billionaire. Yes, a billionaire. So hateonme17 how much money do you have? Stop being a hater, make some goals and achieve them. This children are wonderful future leaders. Thank you Oprah for supporting the children and their dreams.
making promises during campaigns is easy, but living up to them is not at all. That is exactly what obama did.He made all these promises to boost economy and pull back troops, but more than half of them were not lived up to, and he still has more to go.
@crw305 I never said Bush did anything worthwild. I merely said (ages ago might I add) that Obama has done nothing. It doesn't matter what Bush did or did not do. He is not the one in office any more. Obama is and I don't see the change he said it was time for. I didn't when I wrote my first post and I don't now. Also a good thing to note about me is the fact that one of my favorite songs is "Dear Mr. President." Last I heard it was an anti-Bush song. Hmmmm, interesting, ne?
@mehitora The only person that is arguing is you. I am not arguing. I am trying to get you to understand that you can not blame just one president. He is human just like we all are human......... so you can not just blame one person. You say you not about the war.... You should be mad about the war... because their was no reason to go over to someone else country and start crap, when you have your own supply in your country...
These kids can not vote yet. But, they know more about the issues than most adults. Maybe you should follow their lead and learn something of substance rather than the crap you are spreading on this board.
What happens if/when Obama fails or lets you people down? Just wondering...... You guys put this man on a REALLY high pedestal - I hope he don't let us down. :/ It would be kind of funny, considering all the hype that America has placed on him. Hope it doesn't scare him stupid.
Oprah is trying WAY too hard to position herself in such a way that she "matters" politically. She needs to remember that she's only a few rungs on the ladder higher than Maury Povich and Jerry Springer.
It will be interesting to see how excited these kids are about Obama in 20 years when they can't feed their families because they are paying a 60% tax rate to pay for his initiatives...
Our education system would be so much better if there were more teachers like Mr. Ron Clark!
Ron Clark you are such an inspiration....keep up the good work!!!!

How rare and wonderful for kids this age to learn about AND care about politics and our country. This is our future! Great going guys!

You may have meant to say the kids were great, but that is not what you said in your initial post. I did not need clarity, I understood you perfectly.
Ron Clark is my only hero.

@babyphatbaby97 i know but it's like they only choose black students, or maybe only the black students wanted to do it. I didn't intend to be racist.

yes, Obama's changing things, but I'm not sure if they are for the better.
I thought he said "don't touch the male" and the next 20 seconds sounded quite strange

10 yes ago that was alot
i hoped mccain would win, but since obama won, what can i do, i just hope he can lead us of our bad times
The location of this school, I don't think many white people would send their own childen to school in this neighborhood.
How jealous can one human become of another one, sad!!!!!
What happens to all of these poor kids expectations when their savior cannot do 90% of what he promised? Sad. So sad.

LOL
I did not see one white child in the group..!!!
a moral criminal.....inspiring children surrounded by negativity to succeed and be confident in themselves???? really?
Hopefully not, why do you hope that there will be an embarrassment? I don't wish that for the democrats.

Sorry...but GED graduates don't even want to be associated with this type of foolishness.
These kids look ridiculous...
