Awesome video, just got a 2024 and only $50 more than a boring bar. Not even 2 ozt difference. But the numismatic people will pay hefty one day, that is, if you dare part with it.
Okay so I found this interesting, but for my case in a TH-cam search not helpful. Let me explain. I have an opportunity to pickup a 1 kilo kook at near spot. From a stacking standpoint its a great deal, but it does cut the grain of my normal stacking reasons. First, I do prefer to buy sovereign silver if the price is right. I have been lucky to take advantage of opportunities to sell and trade up and have found the sovereign silver has always been easier to sell with a premium. Generics are slower and normally a spot or spot minus offer. You mentioned silver for the soul and I could not agree more. Years ago I would get in a bar or tube of anything and want to "play". Put on the gloves, turn the lights up and check out each piece.Due to the decline in the economy, I have only purchased a fraction in 2024 compared to any other year. I dont even think I opened the last tube of Britts to even look at them. In short, I'm bored with it. I always look for the deal like many others, but at a rule of thumb stick strictly to 10, 5 or 1 ounce pieces. The one kilo is just harder to sell to the average FOMO buyer. It is always easier to sell 30 rounds to a 1 kilo buyer, but never have I found it possible to sell a 1 kilo piece to the average someone looking to buy silver. Having said all this, It is a cool coin and would look great next to the only other 1 kilo piece I have. The practical side of me stacks silver as a liquid asset for savings or insurance I pay to myself. The voice is saying, dont buy anything that you may not want to sell or could be harder to sell. The hobby / fun side of my silver stacking says buy it ! LOL P.S. Sorry about the novel
That's a phenomenal pick up... It's your stack and your Legacy... Spice it up according to your taste!❤
First... I really like the 1 Kilo Coins for $800-$850. Other than the 2008 these are the 2 best Kooks MADE!
I wish the US offered one kilo coins.
Don't put fingerprints on the plastic!
:)
Great video 👍
Thanks 👍
In the Netherlands there is a 21% sales tax on silver. Silver coins however are exempt....
