    Would like to see a “best of” video or series of videos. Like best/your favorite water based, oil based, etc. of 2018 for fine, thick, thin, coarse, etc. hair. Maybe 6-8 products total.

    I use chrome almost every day and absolutely love it! I have thick coarse hair and chrome is one of the few products that are able to manage them...

    Hi Robin. Well, another great Brand Battle! Never used these products, however, I have used, in the past, a couple of other Hanz De Fuko products, i.e., Claymation and Quicksand, and found them to be of high quality. Regarding Morris Motley, never used any products from their line, but have used a couple of products from what a lot of reviewers are saying are a somewhat similar line, Kevin Murphy. Again, high quality, but very expensive. Looking forward to your next video.

      I've never try any, but i'm tempted to try Chrome by Morris Motley. It seems not too glossy and have a good hold which is what i was looking for.

    Great review! Im going to try Morris motley when they come back out with their products apprently their going to have new products I guess a more updated version of chrome. My question is some people have complained that chrome is a dry product? Did you find it to be a dry product that made hair frizzy at all? Thanks in advance!

    Hi Robin. I was wondering how you got your hair cut, I love the length. Were the sides a pain to grow out? I have fine hair (but A LOT of it) too and find it a pain to grow out the sides because my hair just pokes out!

    Hey Robin, I have a suggestion. I know that you've done it in the past, but would you consider splitting up the points and distributing them across both brands during the "important factors"? I feel like some people will see the difference in points between the two and automatically assume one brand is better than the other by X amount of points. Thanks for listening!

    • @phongbach7248
      @phongbach7248 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm agree. It may look a bit misleading that one product is way better than the other. The way he use a new point system is more accurate. However, he should graded each category in a 1-5 rating scale because they have to have some point (instead of the winner take all in this case). Then he can apply back the rating into the point to see how many point each product get in that category.

    • @ManForHimself
      @ManForHimself  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Terraling, thanks for the suggestion. I will be keeping it as is for the moment. Whatever system is used, there will be arguments for another.

    Hey Robin. I need your help. I have, not super thin hair, but it’s def not thick. I need a new hair product and I’m looking for something with good hold, but not super heavy and a matte finish. Any recommendations?

    • @thecarnaticmahesh
      @thecarnaticmahesh 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I know I'm not Robin, but I can help you. Try Apothecary 87's Clay Pomade. It's a UK based brand. I tried it, and it's AMAZING. It's an oil-based product, and has a *slight* shine. It provides decent hold, and contains some clay compounds, which can tend to add to the elasticity of the hair. You'll love it!

    • @PkmnTrainerBen
      @PkmnTrainerBen 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Think I'm going to try out heavy made as I can get it from Asos. Reckon it'll be good if I have a quiff, but want to go for something that is a bit sharper with more shine? I usually use clays for a bit more dishevelled look.

    As much as I love this serie I don't think you could compare a clay/cream to a gel pomade which is meant to be styled with comb. And also even though they said they both give shine, morris motley definitely is low to medium shine compared to hdf.

    i think to improve the comparison you should grade the products form the scale of 1-5 for each criterias. take criteria point x your point then sum them up.

    • @ManForHimself
      @ManForHimself  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That gives the same weight for packaging and hold then.

    • @alooooooola
      @alooooooola 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      no i mean for instance, the point for application is 2, and from 1-5 you give Hanz 3.5 points and Chrome 4 point, then hanz has 3,5*2=7 point and Chrome has 4*2=8 point. i think that will make the battle more intense
