Right didn't say anything about what he used for noobs ..Because I have no idea what that tape was called or the metal mesh .I. believe the long metal stick thing he used was jus a hot gun with a special tip on it..
🤔 Costly?? I'm guessing that you've never bought parts such as that one. Repairing it is a LOT cheaper. Even if you have to pay a professional plastic welder dude to fix it, it's still less expensive than new parts.

@@cali8221 …that was a soldering iron he used..with wire meshing…i recognised those two..but not the other stuff he used..lol
why not use sandpaper instead of a cutting knife?
[Good thing you put the gloves on, otherwise it would've appeared amateur.]
Good concept but zip ties are generally nylon. The fairing is likely ABS so the bond will not be as strong as using same base material.
you should use sand paper and putty in order to get a smoother and nicer surface.
Thank! Good Idea!
Very well executed. Great presentation. How did it hold up afterwards?
This seems really labor intensive, a bit destructive, costly, and like more materials were used than necessary.

What do you call that aluminum sticker?
it is aluminum tape
You don't have sandpaper in your area.
No, sometimes I forget to buy them.
