Very cool, kool, and even kewl ways to deal w/ cracked/broken plastic... I say this as I own a P/U Truck that's from the mid90's
which has broken plastic on the dash. It's the plastic that goes around the instruments/gauges, & the air conditioning vents
except no one sells the replacement piece that I need. I looked hard back in 2014-16 but found no one making this piece that
goes across the whole front of the dash & they've never got one in the junk yards that isn't already broken. All that said, this
might just offer me a way to fix it but after that IDKnow if I can do much about the colors b/c part is a fake wood grain type
finish but if I can't put it back together I'll be happy enough. Thanks again for this solution. peace

Скобы от степлера имеют свойство ржаветь и долго не простоят. Уж если чем и армировать шов, то сеткой из нержавейки.
Но степлер погружен в пластик, а не контактирует напрямую с воздухом, поэтому заржаветь очень сложно.
@@GausDIY любой шов, стык не имеет такой герметизации, как пластик, литой под давлением. Поэтому по истечению определённого времени окисление произойдёт, тем более, что ремонтируемая деталь постоянно находится в агрессивной среде.

Te sugiero utilizar bicarbonato de sodio, resulta más limpia su manipulación, a diferencia del polvo de grafito. El resto del procedimiento es el mismo. Saludos.

Realizo casi dl mismo tratamiento, sólo que en vez de corchetes, le coloco trozos de sujetapapeles. Rescaté un cajon de la nevera que se rompio al sacarla, qedo firme
Pour les personnes qui l'ignorent, il existe des baguettes de plastique qui permettent de souder entre elles des pièces de plastique PVC et ont des tenues assez résistantes, notamment utilisées sur des chemins de câbles en PVC dans des milieux acides où des pièces métalliques se corrodent rapidement, je dois reconnaître qu'il faut réellement prendre le " coup de main " avant de réussir de belles et solides soudures

Crazy glue gets brittle and splits but I have seen guys scuff up the inside surface, use zip ties inside hot glue guns to weld plastic then layer on epoxy and its very strong.
Someone needs to pickup these plastic noses off the highways, repair, repaint and resell them.
There's a FORTUNE just laying out there!

Плохая работа. Нужно купить шпаклёвку по пластику. Потом грунтовка. Её перечещаешь наждачной бумагой и лиш потом красить. ( это если по простому )

You could have just used some crazy glue and not gone thru all this trouble
If you have had experience with this you would not say that,but most likely because you have no skill set in this area glue would be easier for you but I promise if you gave it a shot the sturdiness and hardness makes it feel like it was never broke buddy plus it will give you a longer permanent fix than just bullshit glue and epoxy shit they sell. Staples and plastic weld is much more aturdy

You missed the whole point of the repair, besides crazy glue wouldn't last very long. This is a kind of like plastic welding, which will hold up much better!

I come from a rich country, we make things to last so rarely have these issues. If we do I just buy a new one if I've broken something by using it incorrectly 😂
