@@CarsPlusBikes Hi great video! I’m planning to buy a Honda Elevate VX CVT and have a dealer-fitted CNG kit installed costing 80k. Considering my daily commute of 45 km per day in Gurgaon traffic, do you think this is a good decision? If you have any alternative suggestions, I’d love to hear them. Thanks!
@harish.bisht2809 : regarding cng, I am sharing my personal opinion below : What I feel is that anyone should go for cng only if your running is really high and it really makes a big difference in overall car running costs over time. In your case, 45km everyday is like 4 litres of petrol (considering elevate mileage of 11.5 in city) vs 2.5 litres of cng . Price difference 4 litres petrol = 400(approx) 2.5 kg cng = 185(approx) Saving in cng per day = 210(approx) Max working days in a month = 20 Savings per month = 4200 Months required to save 80,000 that u spent on day 1 of cng installation = 80000/4200 = 19 months So in 1.5 year, u will balance the cost . Then onwards u will save 4200 per month. This will be 50,000 saving every year after u complete 1.5 years This is my rough calculation where I assumed cng mileage of 20km/kg and petrol city mileage of 11.5 kmpl. And additionally, u will also do some outstation trips with family outside of your daily running. So this seems to be a decent saving for sure to me. The disadvantages of having cng will be 1) little compromise in boot space 2) pickup in cng will be slightly less thN on petrol Now u decide if disadvantages are more important or saving 50000 per year is more important to u. And please share with me on whatever u decide. Note: those are rough calculations and they may vary based on driving style and usage.
Hello Harish I forgot to mention one thing that this cng option from honda is provided at Dealer level and its not exactly factory fitted cng like Maruti or Hyundai . So I am not sure about it's reliability and warranty. Cng is only worth cost saving if it factory fitted, safe and reliable. So please do your research before buying cng honda. If unsure, then simply go factory stock petrol honda car even if it costs more than cng in long term.
Hi, great video. Is there any ownership comparison made for turbo vs NA engine? Also, comparison video of manual vs cvt in ghat sections like Amboli ghat or any other steep ghat section? Did you drive elevate manual in ghat section? What's its responsiveness?
Short answer : personally i feel Honda city and honda elevate, both are adequately powered for driving in hills, be it steep climbs! Now the long answer : for a turbo vs NA engine, in terms of power, let me tell u a general thumb rule! Turbo cars always feel more powerful than NA cars due to more torque that comes explosively. But the real question is how much power do you need? Power is like money, you will always feel you need more. For instance, think of VW virtus which comes in 1.0 and 1.5 turbo engines. when you see people comparing those 1.0 and 1.5 engines with each other, they always say that 1.5 is league apart and way much better because they are comparing two things where one is more in numbers than the other! Actually 1.0 of vw virtus is way more than enough for any type of roads in India! Even the Honda's 1.5 i-vtec in city and elevate is a gem of an engine. SO for deciding , drive both NA cars and turbo cars , and then just don't compare them on one more more than other, please also evaluate yourself as what kind of a driver you and and how much you actually need!
@CarsPlusBikes Thank you for the detailed response. I saw videos on how NA and Turbo actually works. Seeing that, I understand that let the engine decide Naturally rather than pushing an extra Turbo. So, I will go ahead with Elevate Manual VX model, and hopefully enjoy the driving. Thank you once again.

Sir my first paid service or 3rd dree service which is 1 year or 10000 kms cost was just 2,*** something because it was labour free and whatever close to 6000 rs.. you have shown was the cost from 2nd year or 20000 kms.. drom there on whatever you have mentioned is correct
My dealer told me- free service will be 1 month, 5month and 1 yr. but here you mentioned 2 month and 1 yr. can you confirm what is the official service schedule
@aayushbagri1040 : As per official details from Honda and their owner's manual, there is no mention of any service before 1 Year. So, 1 month/5month, or 2 month: There are no official details and so, some people/dealers tell 1/5 while others say 2 months! But irrespective of all these, the main service is 1 Year/10,000kms where oil change starts. You need to get your service done from 1 year /10,000kms on time and your car will be fine. If you visit the service center at 1 month 2 months or 5 months, they will do the checkup for sure and you will realize that checkup is just a mere formality sake checkup with the only benefit of a car wash :D. Still, you can WhatsApp me at +91-8287496407 for any more doubts or follow-up questions.
Bhai aap jo cost bata rahe ho, service center wale isme 3500 rs labour charge or add kar dete hain. Kya aapki batai hui cost mein labour charges include hai. Mujhe 10000 wali service ke 8000 se 9000 bataye hain.
Ismein labour included hai! But service center wale might add unwanted items in the list, so please ask what is included in the estimate? WhatsApp me in 8287496407 for any confusion.
Why would I watch this video I don’t keep cars more than 3 years ? Well this is how u should not place your content on front script that’s why you are a weak digital contender
Thank you so much very informative and nicely explained step by step and appreciate your efforts and help.
Thanks a lot @DharmS 🙏

delhi me honda ka 1 service centre?????????
It's not 1 service center. Here 1 represents city. The screen talks about number of cities having presence in each state/UT
wheel alignment?
Wheel alignment is specific to your usage.
Some people will need alignment after 5kms while others won’t need it upto 30-40k also
Wheel alignment is usually between 1000-1500 in service center
And 600-1000 in outside local workshops
