It's been almost four months since our special bear Tidus left us. With your tremendous outpouring of love, comfort, and support, and with Tidus nudging us to heal, we've gathered our strength to heal our broken hearts and left on a special therapeutic trip to Montana with the Husky Squad.

I lost my beautiful white husky, Duke, to kidney disease last month. It was sudden and very difficult. This video has helped me alot. Now it's just me and my other husky. We will be going on alot of hikes together. Love you guys and am praying for God to direct your next steps. Blessings.

My sweet friend, Dana, your words are so true and comforting to us, thank you. Montana has been bittersweet so far. The people we’ve met have been genuine, kind, and giving. It’s rough country out here though. Nature is beautiful, with an abundance of wildlife, and great fishing too, but she is unforgiving to those not unaware of her rough edges. This place is definitely making us more hardy 😅, and we’re loving all the experience we’re gaining. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers. Love and hugs from our pack to yours ❤️

5 years in. It doesn't get better, you're right. Nothing fills my Nanook-shaped hole. We go on, tho, and keep our hearts open to the rest of our families, and the possibilities that may come to us at any time.

Lost my husky 7 weeks ago …nobody understands the connection I have with my fur babies and how my heart still aches like that day he passed. Everyday has been a challenge trying not to cry every minute of my day. I miss Rocky’s smell and big blue eyes always looking at me , he was a giant teddy bear that followed me everywhere. Going on walk is not the same .. your videos have helped me to heal so much and give me strength to get up and continue to go in walks and hikes. Thank you for the amazing content you share of your beautiful family. Tidus will forever be in our hearts , Tidus and Rocky are running free in the mountains right now 💙🐾

I feel your pain as I too have been dealing with the loss of my precious Bean (7 lb Chi) who was chased off this past April by a large off leash dog. He has been spotted many times but unable to secure him. We have faith that the universe will guide him back home to us🙏

I have not visited your pack for a few months and tonight I learned you lost Tidus, my heart goes out to both of you and the doggies. Glad to see that you are making it through and my prayers are with you and your family.
You so freely open up about your lives and I want you to know how much I love you all. Stay strong, know that life will have its highs again. You two are such beautiful people and I love who you are. I also love huskies too. All of your dogs (especially Nikolai) are so lucky to have such thoughtful caring hoomans!
It's so great to see all of you back on the trails (where you belong and where you are most happy). And yes, the spirit of Tidus lives on.
You both are very grounded beings and it reflects in your dogs too. It feels as if you were all meant for each other. Sorry for the loss of Tidus, im sure he was loved immensely. Thank you for sharing this. Particularly struck by the talk about how much they become your teacher. It was one of the things I tried to express to those who knew me about how much I discovered and learned through my own malamute from his fifth week to the day he slept for the last time 13 years later. It helped to hear someone say those words. (Plus I remember your using Screaming Out in a video a long time ago. Nice to hear it again.)
I'm so grateful you relate. Sometimes I have a difficult time putting those thoughts into words, especially when it comes to Tidus. I'm so sorry you lost your beloved malemute. We feel your pain so much and I hope time is healing you. For some reason this soundtrack was calling us again, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Sending lots fo love from all of us!

Such a beautiful yet heart-wrenching video. I was away from TH-cam for a while and shocked to find out about the passing of Tidus when I started catching up. You guys gave him an extraordinary life and I believe that he is with you always, not just in your hearts but in spirit as well. The music at the end of this video is amazing and I had to rewind three or four times to listen over and over again. Tried to find the song but haven't been able to. Hello my Friends. We were so devastated and cried after Tidus was gone forever. I remember how we suffered after our dog Younkers died. It broke our hearts.We love how you are so attached and love your animals. We admire you do much. We feel we could be your friends. If you don't mind me asking could we stay your friends? Today after seeing on YT your newest video we both cried so much. We would love to meet you and talk to you one day. When our dog Younkers died after 18 years we adopted two huskeys 3 year old Alaska and 10 year old Yukon..... We send our love to you. Please stay safe. Hugs

I just came across your profile and I’m grateful that I did. I always say bad times never last tough people do. I can only imagine what that pain feels like. I think about that at times with my boy and I truly don’t know how I would be if I was in that position. Stay blessed and take it one day at a time. 🙏
I understand what you went through and my love and prayers. We have lived in north Idaho for quite a long while now and had been abandoned by a couple together had agreements and responsibilities with, then trying to salvage the pieces and trying to move a 2 story house full of very heavy furniture and equipment lifting and offloading, absolutely no family or friends help or support, and losing 2 of our beloved american akitas all happening within a very short period, it has been by its own right traumatizing. Though it has taken time God heals and makes things all new. I understand it now that He was trying to build our character so that all was worth it, not to change our circumstances and make life easier. Glory be to God.

Another jewel of a video. I am so impressed by your filming and storytelling skills. This was a video with a laugh and a cry. I laughed out loud when the girls were singing and when Nikolai tasted the Montana drinking water, the expression on his face was priceless! This guy is so full of life, so eager, there's no holding back, he wants to experience everything and dive right in. I love this but I can also imagine it takes a lot of guidance and support from your part, which you're doing so amazingly well. Can't wait for your training course! And then I cried when Vee was talking about Tidus. Some dogs will change the direction of your life completely and make you see what's really important in life. I'm so glad Nikolai got to spend time with the wise, experienced Tidus. When Nikolai reaches his age he will probably think back about what Tidus was trying to teach him and then fully understand. You are amazing people with amazing dogs and it is so nice to see how loving and connected you are with your squad! I don't think anything I've ever watched has been so peaceful and brought a calmness to me than this video. I had to stop the video and come back to it when at the fire you talked about Tidus. Its been almost 17 yrs since we lost our Katie (a Brittany) for a year I thought I heard her tags jingle and would turn around to talk to her. My heart hurts for you both. Tidus was special to me because I suffer with a knee problem, watching him overcome was a blessing.

Losing a pet is one of the hardest things a pet owner has to go through. It is a heartbreaking process, but the beauty is that time truly does heal, and you're left with their beautiful memories as a legacy. And you guys have such beautiful videos of the Husky Squad to look back on his memory. Your videos touch people's lives-may you always continuing creating them.

We have a 5 year old Husky/Shepherd and he loves to talk at night. I love having "howling" sessions with him. Husky and Shepherd I have learned now are both very energetic and need alot of human time. Our Ares does not like to share "mom"! We tried to introduce a puppy about a year and a half ago and it did not go well at all. He tried to kill her! So no more dogs here for us. Makes me sad, I love dogs.
