    The black smile is the fake smile he is forced to wear everyday and pretending to he someone he's not.
    Black balloons = his burdens
    Black clothes represents how he feels isolated from happy people
    White clothes with balloons = happy people that still carry around burdens
    You guys should really listen to his interview he did at Lollapalooza this year. It's on TH-cam and it will explains some things for you guys!!

    • @dormirrelajado4688
      @dormirrelajado4688 5 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Samuel 88888 it’s awful, because you want to do things and be productive but you can’t, and when you told yourself that your fears aren’t real the thought don’t want to leave. It’s exhausting 😒 but we need to keep going and to be positive, because we could be worse

    • @Nichole2228
      @Nichole2228 5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I am also an introvert with ocd...not to mention a workaholic with a need for perfection. It's definitely a struggle, but I've learned how to live with all of it. But to be famous too? I personally don't think I could balance it all....and that is one of the many reasons I love and respect NF.

    I think the white clothes represent people who know they have issues and are actively working to overcome their issues. Each of them are at different levels. Some still have balloons, some don’t. Some have the fake smile and others are having it removed. We all know that NF believes in God and references Him throughout the album. In the Search he was given white clothes while searching for the map to hope. I think he is ready to start handing some of his burdens to God at the end which is why we only got to see an outstretched hand from behind a curtain. I love how long the line is....The ultimate Healer.

    When he brought up fame. He was talking about Eminem. “Here are the symptoms, couldn’t miss ‘em, wrestle with ‘em then I penny flip ‘em, bounce ‘em back up nowhere, you should get some, who you dissin? Move the switch and don’t come in the kitchen, you should listen, Cookin records for my hands are blisterin” then he starts by saying “ whole consensus, flow tremendous, no apprentice, no incentive, show intensive, so possessive, TONE AGGRESSIVE”. These are shots at Eminem. NF used the same flow as Kamikaze by Eminem.

    Reminds me of Tyler Joesph of Twenty One Pilots. He has a similar message. His lyrics are so insanely good and he’s authentic as well. I dig how they are vulnerable and share their struggles with the world in hopes of improving it for others. They don’t have it all figured out....none of us do...but I can relate to some of the faith based themes and questions.

    In "Therapy Session" he stated that he's slowly letting go a few of his dark feelings at a time. So at the ending of this video he gave two balloons away as a meaning he's letting go of some more doubts . So I believe the balloons is what he has left of the doubtfull emotions he still has buried in his mansion (meaning, in his head) Stating in the song "The search" he said "filled balloons are full of doubts"

    I originally thought that the people in white in The Search were people in the industry trying to get NF to conform to the industry standards now that he has left his cage.
    But I think the people in white are the fans that follow him and have overcome their issues or in the process. Some that had put on a fake smile are in line getting it wiped off. There are those in line to change into the white close which could be associated with Change the song. There's the scene with the old man in the like abandoned building that's still got all his balloons and is wearing black that looks helpless and like his burdens kept him there. Then you see the people in white pushing NF in his cart to a place where he eventually gets out and takes two of his balloons to lighten his load.. I think the people pushing him are his fans that want to see him get help. They are all behind him which could be symbolic of how his fans actually are... Always behind him, there to help push him forward.

    He says in the one verse " I hate to be normal but hate to be different " I think he is in a never ending battle to find a balance between the 2 while also dealing with being famous and making sure he doesnt lose his core values

    So here’s my theory
    The black balloons represent NF music 🎶
    And by him giving it to the ppl dressed in white representing what ppl with a bad state of mentality Illness wear in Asylums... is him showing that thru his music ppl who are going thru depressing moments or suicidal thoughts can express theme selfs and let some pain out and in some way have happier moments as a result of releasing some pain out.
    That why you see a line with people with balloons waiting to get a fake smile on .
    Idk that’s what I see
