This is the second JB video I watched, after finishing your Alvaro Castagnet-style cityscape this morning. I'm so glad I discovered you on TH-cam! I love the way you teach -- your explanations are so clear and insightful, you let us watch you mix your paints which is so important for value and warmth/coolness, and your voice is calm and convincing. I definitely believe my painting will improve with you as my new online tutor! Thank you, John!!!
John, Your instruction is right on! Excellent vocal pace and focus. Keep up the good work. Thanks for helping me become a better watercolorist! Carpe diem
Love your energy! The way you left random white areas for people and cars are no less than magical for me. One more thing ... I appreciate the limited palette. Yeah. I'm all on board. Loving your channel.
Very nice painting
Great video! 👍 thx john
Not being an artist but a 🎨lover🎨, I have been enjoying all your videos by observing & learning your display of talent. Have watched already about 10 videos.
I am fascinated by the way you paint and even more, by the way you share your artistic talent.
Congratulations & keep them coming along, the road of learning from you is amazing! Not an easy one but I can see that it will allow me in the future
to “🎨wet the paper🎨
👍👍👍
I Love the way you simplify your drawing, adding some details and expressions to deliver its message to the viewer, while still keeping it, well, artistic🖼
Thank you so much 😀
Got a nice Alvaro C? look to this- yet distinctly yours of course. He's big on loading in a ton of caligraphy marks, but your style is nice and loose with small but important minor detail which allows the viewer to participate as they decifer details. like you said, your brains just fill in detail, and I think this let's the viewer get more invovled. Highly detailed paintings take that joy away by taking all the viewer involvement away.
Fantastic as usual... congrats
Thanks again!
Nice! May we know your color mixture for the sky? Thanks
why hasnt this guy posted anything in a year or two?
Nice Demo as usual. Quite helpful.
Please mention a bit details about your BRUSHES..... Regards....
Will do soon!
What angle do have your board at please?
Its hard to say for sure but I would say roughly 15 - 20 degrees
I can’t understand with your great talent, you make all your paintings dull and colourless and gloomy.
