Great job! I am a 30 year km tech and it's nice to see you digging right in. Fyl, you don't have to take the shafts off the scrapers. Take off the spring and they pop off. You should replace them when you replace the roller so you don't ruin the new one. That belt stripping is a common problem with them. I keep three in my stock. Keep up the good work.
My press was down for a little while turns out to be a bad hopper from factory. Up and running now tho. Crazy as that sucker was stripped down to sheet metal. It’s so cool how everything is modular on these machines. Can’t wait to see the Accuro label 400
PM kits were on back order forever. Keep an eye on the claws so that they are free moving, lot of PM kits go in and a seized claw scrapes the nice new UFR. Nice find on the belt.
I love fixing stuff but I also love just swapping something out in about 10 seconds lol. If you find a reputable place, some sellers will actually sell you rebuilt units so you can just swap them out and return your "core" but you'd need to find something with a good reputation.
I would also suggest cleaning as much of the toner as you can back there with that vacuum. The carrier in the toner will chew up the gears and stuff back there.
Funny thing - I’ve worked for KM for a little over 20 years and I’ve asked a million times to see what’s in a PM kit and I have to watch your TH-cam videos to see the equipment my company sells and services - is that upper fuser roller a Katun?
I am adicted to your videos Sir i am using km 6500 I recently bought used mechine I have a small doubt about it dose it will support long copies and availability of saper parts
To get more life out of the fusing rollers and avoid having the insulating sleeves break. Take the fuser pressure off auto and switch it to weak in the paper settings. There should be no problems with fusing on that setting. The fuser pressure on the "auto" setting is always maximum for some reason. A note about the drive belt you replaced. Also check the aluminum pulleys on the rollers it drives for play. I had a number of the 1200s and 1250s have those fail. The roller shafts, pins, and pulleys wear out and cause the same jam code.
Hey mate you don't need to remove E-clips and shafts on claws(tan) . Just remove the spring and push down on back of claw (opposite of pointy end) and they just pop out. 😉
Man, Wish I could start a TH-cam channeling doing repairs on production/MFP's but i am sure my customers would not be happy having a camera in their facilities. That lower smaller heat soaking roller may have a thermistor on it that gets crap on it and can cause errors. perfect time to clean while you have it apart. I know the 6136 has it but unsure of the older models.
The 1200 is similar to the 951 so I'm posting this here. PANIC: Konica 951. Only One and a half million copies. Had 10 copies out of 4000 with a very sharp half of the sheet in nearly solid black. Tech figures it's digital. Then this week after printing 662 perfect copies it printed about 1000 of these black on half of the sheet, on both sides, on every sheet. How do I add a photo here? Anyone have this problem and know what it is? The black runs down the length of the 11x17 sheet on the rear of the machine both sides of the sheet. A very very sharp cut off at the exact centre of the sheet. Also it starts instantly on the sheet. Like a clean one then the black one. So must be digital. yes, I printed for about an hour and have to throw it all out.. OUCH Any help is appreciated.
No leftover screws means......a job not well done...🤓🤓🤓🤓 Always refer to sm for jam codes, it will pin point to exact jamming location....well most of the time.... Ur fuser unit was not bad at all and some juice was still in there.....good luck.
Yes, the service manual helped me locate the problem was between two of the sensors. But I still am never 100% certain. I'm still learning a lot! Yes, old fuser rollers will make fine spares!
@@justaprinter Yes in deed, not that they will be wasted.. They are maintenance parts, that must be replaced after some limited amount of prints. So when-then they will be again inside the printer. But as a rule please, next time when you have intermittent jam, first look around the forums online. Usualy always, by my 15 years experience is some stupid little thing.
Hi. I have been watching your videos and learning about printers so I have a question ❓ I'm trying to start a coffee and dry fruits business but I'm not strap for cash 😔 to buy a expensive printer to print on my mylar bags if possible can you direct me to a cheap printer that can work for the moment until I could afford the expensive one please
@Wayne M thank you so much for that information if possible would you be able to give me the link to that video because I'm trying my best to not spend a $100 to print 5 bags if I can get a used printer for cheap
Another great video, Dan. Sleep on it is great motto. Sometimes it’s better to walk away from the problem and come back to it with a revised approach.
Thanks! Yes, refocusing the brain does wonders!

Wow, that Accuio 400 looks like a beast! I didn't know they existed.

Oh man! Not sure on the brand of the upper fuser roller. I bought it from ARC services Co. and was 1/2 OEM price.

Hmm, thanks for the tip. Yes I do often run 60lb text on weak setting. I like the look better. Thanks for the 1200 tip too!
Great great stuff! You're awesome, man.
I act like I know what I'm doing. :)
Hey mate you don't need to remove E-clips and shafts on claws(tan) . Just remove the spring and push down on back of claw (opposite of pointy end) and they just pop out. 😉
Oh man! That will save me time if I ever do that again. Thanks!
Miss to Replace “web belt” on fuser! Very important
Yup. Already did that a few weeks back.
Hi, why are you doing this yourself, wouldn't a service contract make more sense?
A service contract would more than double my cost.

Please show me how to print single book two time on a3 size please please please
