I’ve used both and I LOVE Carbon!

Both are high quality apps, that's for sure. Perhaps it comes down to personal preference, but even after using Carbon, I prefer MacroFactor. But you can obviously see results on both apps and there's not a lot wrong with either of them. Both are top of class.

I've been trying Macro Factor for about 2 weeks now, but I have an issue. May be someone can help (may be I just missed something as well): I have type 2 diabetes, so carbs are a no no for me (bare minimum anyways). My only 2 choices for low carb programs are low carb diet (obviously), and keto. But low card diet, the number is still too high (200Gr per day...impossible for me). And keto, well, the fat intake is just too much for me. So I would like to have the option to tailor my program. My calories intakes always falls short every day because I'm not eating the amount of carbs of the program.... see my dilemna ? Am I missing something ? Beside that, I'm satisfied with MF and would like to keep it. Thank you.

You can 100% change your targets on either of those programs. You just need to select the "manual" or "collaborative" coaching options, and then you can update your carbs to whatever you feel is reasonable. Once you change your carb intake, the app will automatically change your other macronutrients to fit your calorie budget. Here's a bit more information: macrofactorapp.com/nutrition-coach-app/

This does not feel like an honest comparison, as much as it does a promotional video for guess who...MacroFactor!!!!

Have you looked at our website where we've reviewed over 20 nutrition apps on the market. I encourage you to do so. Each review goes into 5000+ words each on how we tested the apps, what worked, what didn't, areas for improvement. So when we say Macrofactor is awesome, it truly is based on our testing. At the end of the day, do whatever you want. It doesn't bother us if you use Carbon Diet Coach instead. It's a great app and you'll make progress with it. Is it better than Macrofactor, based on everything we said in this video, and everything we know about the nutrition app market, it's not. At least not right now.
