Love when you do these old industrial facilities. Seeing the plants growing on the floor (and the trees growing on the roof) is always really interesting. As an old history buff, I appreciate that you showed some of the history of the facility. It makes the whole explore come more alive when you know what the facility was and what they manufactured there (and that facility had an intriguing history to it). Also glad the scrappers were not giving you trouble. I think you're right- stay out of their way and don't show their faces on the video, and they'll probably leave you alone.
Glad to finally see the inside of this place. Years ago when I got my DJI mini this was actually the first place I flew it. Also, that boat that was in there used to be tucked into the back corner by a garage door several years ago.
Thank you for taking the extra time to find pictures from the past, it makes the video more interesting to me. Hopefully their future plans work out for this property.
for some reason all the scrappers i've met in hamilton have been really chill lol one in the factory in the video was telling me to be careful for cameras and stuff and to stay safe and in the steel mill next to it some guy offered to show us where to get copper lol
Love the industrial abandoned places as it tell the history of the of the company Westinghouse was very big company all over the world especially Australia everyone had a Westinghouse great video Dave it was a shame about the scrapper but he should not take what was belong to the factory
We don't just randomly carry weapons around in Canada. We're not murderous lunatics who threaten schoolchildren and try to overthrow democratic elections. We're quite civil and polite compared to our neighbours to the south. That's why we have a border.
Good morning from Cape Cod ⛵ a failed company referencing a failed politician, I love it Dave 🤘 anyway let's get off of politics and get on to some cool abandoned industrial sites, I'm glad you had no problems with the scrappers and the only problem I got is it seems to be another couple hours of building and video to explore, personally if you explore the entirety of this complex I would watch every minute of it. Well that's my rant, stay safe Dave ✌️🇺🇲🇨🇦
Great video , industrial sites are always cool to venture too since they hold a lot of history.
I agree, it's amazing the history these places hold.
Enjoyed it, great story behind the building too. Thanks 😊
