Today I'm reacting to BTOB's 'Killing Voice' live performance video and give my honest thoughts and first impressions on the songs performed.
Hyunsik is way too good. Eunkwang is way too good. Changsub is way too good. Sungjae is way too good, especially for a maknae and why are Minhyuk and Peniel also so cool? Man, if BtoB didn't loose Ilhoon, they'd probably just be in my top 5 boygroups. They still lowkey are, but that slight edge in the rap area that they lost (Minhyuk & Ilhoon rap battles in their songs were so good back then) is a huge hit imo.
Still, one of the best in the game and a pleasure to listen to in today's 'Killing Voice' episode :)

25:33 Eunkwang did the highest harmony. Sungjae can actually reach super high notes! He has the highest part in the harmony in the bridge of Wind And Wish as well as a "dolphine - note" similar to Eunkwang at 26:11 in the song When It Rains. For the last mentioned, everyone thought it was Eunwkang that did that note, until they performed it live and to everyones surprise it was Sungjae! Highly recommend live performances of those songs. When It Rains is a BTOB Blue song (vocal line).
BTOB's Killing Voice is the only time the production had to come out and apologize because they edit out so much of their harmonies and vocals! Melodies weren't complaining but were dissapointed in the heavy editing, when there is no need of it, so Dingo apologized and said that they had to because their vocals were so strong their voices got picked up by the other mics beside the each member making it sound like 12 people was singing. LOL They are incredible! (But also, knowing BTOB, Dingo should of prepared different mics... it's such a shame to not hear this note of Eunkwang 31:19 , because in concerts it's REALLY powerfull!!).
BTOB's Killing Voice trended in South Korea for several days! 13M views (now 14) is actually really good when there are groups that are more known interntionally that doesn't have as much views! They are one of few groups that are very popular among the general people (non-fandom/muggles lol) in South Korea. So when the Killing Voice came out they and their songs here were top search on Melon real-time search. They are constantly on top 10 most searched/loved group in South Korea! But as it's been for BTOB, until recently, they haven't gain the international fame as most kpop groups have, at least our fandom is growing, which is more than you can ask for for a group of 12 years!

o_O having my eyes on it, am a bit busy that day but I'll try!
genuinely hyunsik has one of the versatile ranges and best vocal control in the industry and i just don't think people recognize it enough like his capabilities are UNREAL
lovely! just some notes from ur commentary: btob songs still have many rap parts even after ilhoon (sadly) left, but because it's killing voice ofc they focused more on the vocal line. all btob songs have rap parts, even the ones on killing voice in which the rappers didn't participate. what they usually do now is just increase peniel's rap lines (he used to be the one with the least lines) so the 2 rappers have more balanced line distribution. interest thing tho that happens in a couple of songs is actually minhyuk sings instead of rapping and all the rap lines are completely peniel. i just love that they can play around with this kind of thing because 1. they make the songs so they are the ones that distribute the lines and 2. they can all sing and most can switch around singing and rapping..
also in be together it was eunkwang who went up the harmony :) and if u ask me i think he's the one who can go the highest, with all the other 3 vocalists very close seconds lmao (bc sungjae can go realllyyyyy high as well)

Checkout their rrecent solos. I liked Minhyuk's 2 latest solo songs. BOOM!
All btob members left cube and now they are under different companies but till now, they managed to get the right of using btob name from cube just for promotional purposes on tv and other media platforms but not for the albums and merchendise. They are still negotiating, I guess, and we hope they can accomplish all the rights to their group name so they can continue working as btob freely.
You definitely need to react to HIGHER 🙌🏻💙💙 if not, you miss out big time

Kinda sad that people, who knew them in their earlier years, overlook Sungjae's current capabilities. Because his hyungs also improve even more, they always look at Sungjae as someone levels below them. I hope they'll be more open to his improvements.
