A fitting end to a wonderful series about Queenstown. A dip in the clear and cool water. You guys are so good at showcasing it. Thanks for taking us along. We love guys. Send us some pictures of Nalu when you pick him up. sending you lots of love💖💖💖 Harriet, Jim and Yuki
Glad you've enjoyed the virtual holiday with us guys! Wow, those first few days with a puppy have been rough! Will have some better updates soon once we're on top of things
It looked like it certainly was precious on the jewels 💎 😂 … the beauty in the raw nature of NZ is outstanding 👍 Really enjoyed this leg of your travels guys 🙏💙
Those waters were just stunning 😍 Based on both of your reactions, I don't know if I could have braved going in! The Cook Islands looks amazing so can't wait for that to come out - though there's a couple of Queenstown ep's I still need to catch up on. I'm looking forward to work finally quietening down in July so I have time to actually watch things I want to when they come out, not be behind with just about everything!!
Hope you've had time to slow down a little even before July! Yeah honestly those were some cold waters, if not for the camera I dunno if we woulda gone in haha
😂😂😂 you were both exstream brave going to that water 😱🥶 Wauw the colour of Blue were absolutely 😍. What a Beautiful place . Really enjoyed your series Trip to Queensland. Sure plenty of place & activities to do Thank you for taking us along 😊 Sure you both be back 😜 can see Snowboarding /skiing’s on the Bucket list in this after you going down in karts in the Dust !!! Aww the Clip of Nalu so sweet❤️❤️❤️ . Looking forward to your next adventures on Cook island. Take care 🥰
Been watching you guys for ages and I’ve finally, finally booked my trip to NZ (from the UK so she’s a trek) starting in Queenstown, and revisiting allllll your NZ videos through the, ‘omg I’m finally coming here’ lens is LIT!
I have a live photo of the Blue Pools as my phone wallpaper so I can see it every day 😂 looks like you guys got lucky since it didn't seem like there were any sandflies 😅
Great series on Queenstown. If I may ask, when were you there? It would be helpful if you put your travel dates in the description of your videos. Thanks!
Did the sand flies not get you at the Blue Pools, they got me in 2020 at the second bridge. You really make travel something to look forward to around New Zealand
@@DaneAndStacey Hi to you both if you need to more about the tree seeds that are dropping I would suggest you check with a arborist who’s a member of the New Zealand arborist association, to protect Nalu, she will give you both lots of love. My dog Isla is a bit of a thief and has stolen food from the table with sultanas & raisins in and are poisonous to dogs , so I’ve had 2 trips to vet to get a vaccination to make her sick.
Awesome set of videos as always! I loved the free things to do bit. So....guess what......WE HAVE ARRIVED...we are officially in NZ! Whoohooo. Any suggestions on must see places in Whangarei? Outdoors and food? Keen on getting some fish and chips that we have been craving since watching your first NZ series 🤣
@@DaneAndStacey Been a bit overwhelming and challenging to be honest, but as soon as we settle I am sure it will be epic. Already done a bit of tramping....but mostly been working and looking for a place to stay.
In which month did you film this video? Just wondering whether you had that cold swim during the summer months or just recently? Awesomeness either way :)
This was April I think, in that part of NZ it's best to always have a jacket! Our Queenstown guide will be the best to talk through the seasons, where to stay and what to do and you can compare car rentals here: geni.us/ewJhfim
We can't recall the exact time sorry, we've been in every season and they all have their pros. Our Queenstown guide has all of our best knowledge and insights, but we like the shoulder seasons around ski season the most
Are there any public toilets there yet? last time I was there, toilet paper & faeces were spread through the forest track that leads to the blue pools.

I have a live photo of the Blue Pools as my phone wallpaper so I can see it every day 😂 looks like you guys got lucky since it didn't seem like there were any sandflies 😅
How cool! Nice photos there if you get the timing with the sun right. Actually we did notice some areas that were a bit intense on the sandfly front
I think that's Mt Cook you can see with the snow.
Always enjoying hanging out with you guys! :-)
Wow this looks amazing! I’ll add it to my list (I should probably learn how to swim first though 😬😂)
Haha you prob don't need to learn because you won't spend more than 2 seconds in there anyway
Great series on Queenstown. If I may ask, when were you there? It would be helpful if you put your travel dates in the description of your videos. Thanks!
Good point - we kind of forget that these vids are found months and years later. This was March / April
Did the sand flies not get you at the Blue Pools, they got me in 2020 at the second bridge. You really make travel something to look forward to around New Zealand
Actually they did in one or two spots but kinda isolated! Glad you got to check them out as well

YES FAROUT! Beautiful hike! You both had us cracking up at the waters edge! 😂😂 Great video guys! ~Cara
The source of the Riwaka in Abel Tasman is bitterly colddd give that one a go 🤟

ANOTHER LOVELEY VIDS STACEY AN. DANEGER. ARE YO GUYS STILL DOWN SOUTH IN QUEENSTOWN NOW ETC.
In which month did you film this video? Just wondering whether you had that cold swim during the summer months or just recently? Awesomeness either way :)
This was only recent, like a month or so ago. I think even in summer you should expect some cold ass water!
We’re planning for October. Noticed you’re wearing jackets… what month is it? And please share driving /car rental tips!

Hi guys! What time of the year was this? And what time of year do you recommend to go to Queenstown? 🙏🏽
We can't recall the exact time sorry, we've been in every season and they all have their pros. Our Queenstown guide has all of our best knowledge and insights, but we like the shoulder seasons around ski season the most
Hold on, where were you buzzing about on that board on the lake? Haven’t seen that in any vids
Ahh there was 2 experiences we weren't able to film for our channel really because of audio, they went into our Jetstar guide to Queenstown vid!
Loved everything about your trip AGAIN. Thank you so much
Yay, thank you!
I heard a rumour that #thatwanakatree was originally a willow fence post that took root and started to re-grow 🌳
That's an interesting thought, sounds like it's the kinda thing that could be true because its just so bloody random
this has made me change my itinerary
In a good way?
Absolutely. Going here on the way to queens town now in the itinerary
Good stuff mate, enjoy!
I would love to visit this place for a swim, what is the best time of year to visit? probably summer, how warm does the water gets?
Yeah summer for sure, Nov - Jan probs, but even then it's still glacial water thats gone freeze you right up sorry haha
Awesome video how high is the jump in the blue pools?
Maybe about 10 metres or so, it was pretty tempting
Can’t wait for the next adventure!
i love ur vids :)
How long is the walk? looks stunning
All of 30 minutes or so, it's pretty quick!
Was the reason it was a great breakfast because of the food or because you got to pet the beautiful pup? 😉
Both! You know us (ok, fine, Stace) far too well haha
I'd feel the same way
Are there any public toilets there yet? last time I was there, toilet paper & faeces were spread through the forest track that leads to the blue pools.
Noooooope! There's nothing there at all really so nothings changed
What month was this?
The swim looks absolutely worth it.
Thanks from Florida. Have a Safe Trip.

no sandflies? wow....
They were there, but not as bad as we've been told by some people - apparently it's insanely bad there?
With a water that looks like that... who can say no to swimming?
Exactly! The nips and nuts will recover!
Nice. Regards from Malaysian utuber
Did he say he's balls froze? 🤣
😂 yup
