I started using slicktricks when the guy was making them from his garage many years ago...had seen some claims his BH flew like a field point....asked my local dealer and he had never heard of them...he called the guy and asked him to send a few packs......at that time, 6 BH was about $20 or so....the dealer was skeptical about the flight being 4 blade....I called him back that same eve and told him they fly like field points......have never looked back.
I shoot 100gr Slick Trick Magnums (1 1/8") out of a Hoyt Carbon Element, set at 80#, with 29" CE PileDriver shafts. When the bow is tuned, they shoot exactly like my field tips. At 80 yds they are starting to get a little spin drift to the right. It's only about 2 inches, nothing to be concerned with. And no, I don't shoot animals that far, I just like to know what my equipment is capable of. I tried the Grizz model once, it did not fly as good for me.
Dude tracking in that looks toughhh
Awesome shot. Kinda disappointed in the blood trail. I wonder what happened. Every one always says how well of a trail they leave. Great video though!
Nice, do you recall the distance on that shot
Fourty Five I’m guessing was about 25
How do they fly compared to feald tips?
I switch between slick trick broadheads and field tips and don't have to change my point of aim at 20-30yds.
Warfighter Outdoors thank you for the info, have you tried farther than that?
