i know connor speciallizes in camera installation and network connections but it still makes me so impressed that he just builds a working network in the car hooked up to batteries and cooling systems and everything
Ive been watching the livestream recently and its amazing to see how the wolves have settled in. They've been napping in the dens togther, howling from the platforms, and one morning I watched as every 20 minutes Awa went paddling and splashing in the pond. Truly amazing work Alveus does, and its been so nice seeing the wolves enjoy the enclosure so much hard work went into!
The view from above, by the drone, is spectacular! It reminds me of a scaled-down version of a summer camp for kids, or a retreat conference center. The care and planning for the pickup, transport and release was flawless. I was at first shocked by Connor jumping in their lake because his scent would be there, but I realized they had just spent a whole day in close quarters with him and seemed pretty relaxed during that.
The PP Pond is legendary. Kinda sad the viewing deck didn't really work out cause of the tree cover. Would be a cool place to hang out during streamer collabs. But at least the new cameras are sick.
I can't believe it's already been a month! I started watching the day before they came. Makes me a bit teary seeing them arrive again and knowing how well they're doing now. Good job, Alveus team!
wow, this is the first time i've seen an aerial shot of this enclosure. thought it was impressive before, but 6:00 really shows how expansive their space is!
Amazing work! That's the best wolf pen I've seen in a looooong time, and it only took a month and a half from announcement to completion. This level of care is way beyond what anyone can expect, and the fact you do it for so many animals is mindblowing. I feel so bad for not being able to contribute more to Alveus than comments, when Alveus has done so much for my life in a short time. I have almost completely changed my way of life, now that I know what impact my little choices have on not only farm animals directly, but the world as a whole. And they do all that while giving so many animals, from the smallest pill bug to the massive wolf dogs, from their own ambassadors to the wildlife around them, the best life ever.
4 hours can be plenty. I use to do 12 hour restaurant shifts driving 40miles from my home. And would get home with energy to spare. I was attentive enough to avoid daily attempts of other drivers swerving into my lane with me in the way (Yes that happened at least once a day, everyday I went to work). The important thing is to make that 1 day a oddity. Good nutrition, and good rest leading up to that day, makes it feel like any other day. Especially with multiple REM cycles hit in 4 hours.

The fact that he did all that for one trip is insane.

im glad mik didn't leave out connor jumping in the pond
The way Connor was pointing out how clean the water in the pond was just to jump into it later IMMEDIATELY making it all murky

I legit thought the PP Pond design was intentional, like it was meant to be meme-worthy LOL
@@ciaomichaellawe all know Connor did it as his ultimate penis joke!
@@ciaomichaella hahahahah it might not be consciously intentional but the demons from inside shure manifested something

Who’s the 2 females walking with maya
The two women walking with maya before the release are PeachJars and JessicaNigri, they both did some great fundraising for the wolf enclosure.
It's really not safe to drive on 4 hours of sleep, I'm disappointed
