7pm never left me. Played NL on release in North America in 2013 as a kid, kept playing until New Horizons, now it’s been 2 years since New Horizons and 7pm still occupies a separate space in my brain.
7 AM is most familiar for me. It was when I used to get up for school :) 7 PM was what I used to call my “fishing song” because I was always fishing when it came on. I guess I ran on a schedule or something 😆
I made this to help me study but I’m glad to see I’ve reminded everyone of happy memories from their childhood! This track is a nostalgia trip for me too!
New Leaf's ost is the perfect Animal Crossing soundtrack. Each hourly theme actually fits for the hour that they're played in within the game itself. I don't know how they managed to mess that up with the New Horizons OST.
Not at all! I played New Leaf everyday for MONTHS when I was a kid, I played New Horizons for 3 weeks and forgot about it. I played NL for the soundtrack, it just hits different
No that's just what we call an opinion. Some people refuse to acknowledge this fact though. I do appreciate the music for New Horizons but the whole game in general is just a different kind of game. I mean back then we treated villagers like actual people, and now we discriminate them by their looks. It's kind of funny how much it's changed.
Of course im happy getting the waves of nostalgia from this, but I’m on the brink of tears with almost every song 😭😭 so many memories and I just wish I could go back and see my brothers again, back when we were all happy.

I once heard the 7 PM remix on Smash Ultimate, and it just feeled me with some kind of sadness. Just sadness, and dread but not the bad kind. Brought back alot.
The 2AM song gives me memories because everytime I heard it I knew I was going to be So tired during school the following day 😭 But I always stayed up so late playing ACNL when I was in elementary school
Omg this hourly music is so much better than NH by a landslide. Ironically I think the NL would fit better for NH because of the choice of instruments (and it being better ofc.) I feel the steel drums, bongos and guitar specifically make the tracks feel a lot more “tropical”, which fits the island theme. If only we could listen to these hourly bops instead of “guitar with goofy synth melody that sounds like an echo of the main theme” crap.
I never played Animal Crossing till about 2019, I actually found out about Animal Crossing New Leaf's music from Roblox High School by Cindering. I cannot express how nostalgic this music is to me, so many countless hours spent past midnight just listening to these songs lol

Tout ceux qui préfèrent ACNH n’ont juste jamais jouer à a ACNL. J’ai limite envie que des personnes nostalgiques comme moi se réunissent pour qu’on remette le jeu ACNL à la mode pour qu’on puisse y rejouer comme à l’époque 😂 bref, je vais arrêter d’écouter ces musique sinon je vais chialer, ça me manque cette époque.

Ça me manque toujours de jouer à ce jeu dans le bus parfois. Vous avez raison, ACNH est bon, mais il ne dépassera jamais ACNL.
Moi je pleure définitivement à chaque fois que j’écoute les musiques de ACNL😢 Vraiment ce jeu est incroyable et c’est vraiment fou à quel point il a bercé mon enfance avec tous souvenirs que j’ai pu crée avec les amis que j’avais sur le jeu. DON'T PLAY ANIMAL CROSSING AT 3:33 AM Why? If you turn on the TV, you will see a suspicious TV broadcast of aliens, and that's why I don't hear the 3AM Hourly Music anymore in ACNL or ACNH.
It’s so somber! It reminds me of when I used to play animal crossing on the bus with my two best friends. Now I live in a completely different state and at the time I didn’t have a phone, so I have no idea how they’re doing today :(
The theme for 7AM just reminds me of eating toast and scrambled eggs before getting ready for school. Going to grade 7 in September, can't wait to do that again I guess :D
And these songs convey many different feelings to many different people. How good of a composer do you have to be to do that? Well, you have to be a Kazumi Totaka. God, I love Animal Crossing.
