Before watching this vidoe I played a DemonHunter arena of my own. I went 11/3, all 3 of my losses were to another DemonHunter. Overall I played 50/50 DemonHunters, but once I got to 5 wins I only saw 1 mage and that's it. Perfectly balanced...
Lady S’theno is so good in Aggro DH as well, if you did end up going for the cheap Aggro DH, you would hit legend so fast. Much respect for not taking the easy out 👏
In a weird way it's good that he's so unlucky because it shows you can make a decent deck with the cards the game gives you and by spending a little dust. Oh, and if you No-Life the game for several hours a day as a successful streamer.
I'm glad it finally happened. It's a more realistic F2P experience than the ones he showcased in the other F2P runs and it adds a lot more to the content
I personally wouldn't mind seeing aggro DH, at least for the rest of the apprentice ranks, and then maybe you could reconsider once you get your starter deck. Also it's probably due for some nerfs soon so you'll get some dust for a real deck.

What a deck! I'm guessing this'll go 10-3 -- it's a monster, but Arena competition is pretty fierce these days. The curve is also a _tiny_ bit suboptimal.
10:38 Spamming level 1-1 actually isn't the best way to play Mercenaries anymore (and it really wasn't unless you were trying to max a Merc for PvP even back before the task changes). It's far better to complete tasks than to do rote retreads of the same thing over and over again. They've made a lot of progress with the mode.
Most of the tasks are completed the fastest by doing the first bounty whether you need it to be Normal or Heroic, so it seems to me that there is a contradiction in the statement
@@Sonofhroft Per the leaderboards, there's at least 200 people with 10k+ MMRs in the current Mercenaries season (started May 1) for Americas. It's a small community, but there's still plenty of people who play. Go back to Reddit with the "Mercs bad hurr durr" shit.

Moreover, with the way that new task acquisition works now, it's better if you're trying to get coins for a particular merc to run their level 30 heroic while fishing for Stranger. Like I said, they've done a lot of work on the mode. How you used to play six months ago doesn't really apply anymore.

HI trump, i really think having the arena rating helper ruins the viewer experience. Perhaps not for old fans, but for newer viewers it may seem disingenuous. I've seen a few times where your first reaction is card 1 and even give 1 or 2 reasons why it would be great but then switch your decision to another card as soon as you open up the ratings and justify it in retrospect. This seems to defeat a portion of the purpose of showing the drafting phase. It seems like maybe 1 in 10 you go against the tracker with your gut instinct. Now, the tracker probably isn't wrong and you may be picking a better deck just by going by what it says but it doesn't make for a great viewing experience. I would rather watch you learn yourself which cards are great. Just one person's opinion! Keep it up tho! great series.
Just an idea, make a decision but then just open up deck tracker after to see what it would have picked (just for interesting conversation) but stay with your first choice, perhaps in later arena runs you can go with the deck tracker choice because you saw it was popular. This time though at least you would be publicly admitting you want to test out what's currently perceived as strong.
WoW Rumble will of course be different than Mercenaries... I don't even understand the comparison... it's being made by a different team(yes still Blizzard but still different people), and most important is a different kinda of game... it's closer to clash royale than to mercenaries...
Use aggro DH to get out of apprentice PLEASE, then use the provided free deck to shape your legend deck, maybe improve on the renolock but just get out of apprentice already its been #21 episodes.
