@ButEye LoveU your right tho , it's seems a lot of people complaining about the changes are just not adapting . Nova unlike id say the vocal majority of the community has learned and adapted to the changes instead of just doing the same thing as before.

You think about it, attacking you while you are unable to defend yourself is worthy of being a wolf, the pack hunts together, kills together, and as apollyons ethics go, "survival of the fittest". Although I belive her to have been the sheep and you the wolf due to her being unable to kill you on her own.

orochi has been literally bottom tier for a long time. now orochi is even less viable. a couple of novas brawls with randoms doesn't speak for the character itself being good but the player and perhaps opponent skill too. overall it's a nerf to the orochi, unblockable is just either going backwards from the unblockable or just parrying it (not hard)
@@Bleiser3 I think Orochi is like the p90 in csgo, in low ranks, its the best hero and the most frustating, in pro matches, its sucks bc he hasn't good openers like the shoulder bash or any kicks or anything, the only thing that orochi had was the 50 dmg heave deflect, deflects are based on skill, heavy ones can be dodged, and with all that, the dmg goes to 29

I hate the deflect changes. And I deflect using the indicators on console. And they changed the timing of it so noe its 10 times harder for me to deflect i gotta go back in training to relearn it. But hell why should I when deflecting is utterly useless now. Other than that yeah i love that he can actually have oos pressure.

At 2:10 how did the LB go OOS? There shouldn't be any stamina penalty on whiff anymore, and neither should Orochi's dodge light do stamina damage. The stamina cost for an attack is deducted from your stamina pool at the moment of input, so it wasn't the LBs light that put him OOS either. How did he go OOS? Did the LB try to parry the dodge light while in his recovery or something?
I think only time will tell, but it's not too much of an issue for me right now, one thing I'd change would be for deflects to do much more damage as at the moment there is only one situation where it's worth it - and that's light deflecting a heavy (it does 4 more damage than parry into double top light)
Gotta finish working on my orochi , I get so bored playing with him sometimes but I love his executions .. most my main characters are Viking mostly valk.. something about the way she fights I like it lol

Nope imagine deflecting a shugoki light or heavy then he goes into charged heavy you would both do 50 damage for a heavy deflect making it an equal trade. Doing it now you may as well not deflect. Because the heavy will do 29 he will do more even on a regular heavy. And deflects in general dont stop hyper armor like they should so even a light deflect will hurt you more often than not

Heavy is ok but the deflect damage, light damage and stamina damage is terrible
