The age gap has since been reduced a bit as their origin has been updated over the years, but they aren't the same age. I'm more interested in the age of Johnny, compared to Peter Parker. I'd like to see them as friends.
I feel like people are assuming the characters are going to be the same age as the actors, that is just an unfounded assumption. They could just easily say the characters are similar in age and that be that, they could take it one step further in the movie and just age up Kirby or age down Pedro a little its not exactly difficult given what they can do.
I was coming to comment that exact thing. Idk why it's such a hard concept to grasp that ACTors can ACT a different age than they are. I mean you constantly have actors in their late 20s or early 30s acting like they're still in high school.
I think people expect casting directors to take that into account, and with Pascal not being the first option for many, it's another knock on him being much older than his wife in reality.

Great Deadpool & Wolverine teaser trailer but the hope as always for a multiverse movie is that the story/script is very strong & holds up beyond the cameos & great action 🤞

Their peaceful harmony is broken when Galactus comes to Earth to feed off its planet energy. The world is counting on their celebrity heroes to stop him. But Galactus is too strong and Fantastic Four fail. They watch their world destroyed from space. Somehow, their spacecraft falls into a time vortex which lands them into our present-day Earth. End credits scene: Arishem, from Eternals, renders judgement on Earth and dispatches his annihilator, the celestial Galactus to destroy Earth. Eternals 2 will have the remaining Ethernals teaming with the Fantastic Four to protect our Earth from Galactus.

Read Books of Doctor Doom or even the original FF 1964 Annual 2 heavily dive into his backstory. He went to school with Reed. Tried to open a portal to hell and fight Mephisto to save his mother. His machine malfunctioned which scared him. He then blamed Reed for that and went into Karma Taj to study magic and gained his metal mask.

The fact that the 616 Avengers only defeated Thanos in exactly 1 scenario out of, like, 14 million, totally gives weight (imo) to the idea that 616 is the weird universe, not the "norm" -- I definitely think it's a situation where there are more universes with the F4 (and X-Men) than not. 616 is just the one, of a few, that didn't have these heroes. Or in the case of X-Men, have a delayed start or something (thinking about how they made Ms. Marvel a mutant).
I think they should do Doom like Vader. They introduce him and immediately know he’s powerful, evil and should be feared. Vader is proof you don’t need to ease into a villain to have longevity. Easing into him won’t spark or reset the MCU.
I think we all have been and are missing the most obvious point of why The F4 will take place in The 60s: They are coined as being The FIRST Family! So it makes perfect sense that the first team would have formed before The Avengers or any other squad. 🤯lol 🫡🤙🏾💜
What if they start in the 60's, but time jump the FF to the future/present via trapped in the Negative zone, etc. Either that's the movie, or it's the start of the movie and the rest is in current time. Doom could be dropped in reference/cameo in the 60's. And if they quickly get to the present then Doom is the villain that nobody knows is the villain, or if it's in the Negative Zone then when they come out to find that Doom is a pending threat.
I like the concept of Doom taking the remains of Sokovia and establishing Latveria, as there’s barely anything but a giant crater there. The refugees would view him as a savior, serving as a foundation to the utopia we see in the comics.
I think it will Be an alternate earth in the 60s and the movie ends with an incursion event, which smashes their world into present day 616. They survive, their world doesn’t.

I pitched this back during pandemic across many marvel TH-cam’s including NR, Emergency awesome, cosmic wonder, including the NR discord… Fan4 were part of shield back in early 60s with Reed being on a think tank along with Hank Pym and prodigy from Latveria Victor, researching the quantum realm, which is when Hank discovered Pym Particles, then they’re brought in on project exodus to help hide the mutants there after the Cuban missile crisis, in tandem with Professor X and the Ancient one using their abilities to hide the existence of mutants from the world. Fan4 get trapped in quantum realm while leading exodus into the quantum realm and are betrayed by Doom when they run into Kang in QR, and are trapped in Negative zone eventually being captured by Annihilus. And while there Valeria is born and the team gains their abilities during their escape from NZ. Doom escapes into post age of Ultron MCU to quietly rebuild Latveria in the rubble of Sorkovia, while Fan4 movie has the team along with a pregnant Sue finally emerge from QR today but need to reenter to steal Cosmic Rod from NZ, to help Franklins birth, leading to annihilation wave beginning.
I think the obvious path is saying they were on SABER and this would actually tie it into the awful Secret Invasion and make that show at least worth something because their powers could have all came from a lab accident up there while working with the blood.

they were forced to remain secret in the 60s, and they werent active for long, but not that theyre in our time, theres no need to keep said secret
I think they should do Doom like Vader. They introduce him and immediately know he’s powerful, evil and should be feared. Vader is proof you don’t need to ease into a villain to have longevity. Easing into him won’t spark or reset the MCU.
I think we all have been and are missing the most obvious point of why The F4 will take place in The 60s:
They are coined as being The FIRST Family! So it makes perfect sense that the first team would have formed before The Avengers or any other squad. 🤯lol

What if they start in the 60's, but time jump the FF to the future/present via trapped in the Negative zone, etc. Either that's the movie, or it's the start of the movie and the rest is in current time. Doom could be dropped in reference/cameo in the 60's. And if they quickly get to the present then Doom is the villain that nobody knows is the villain, or if it's in the Negative Zone then when they come out to find that Doom is a pending threat.

I like the concept of Doom taking the remains of Sokovia and establishing Latveria, as there’s barely anything but a giant crater there. The refugees would view him as a savior, serving as a foundation to the utopia we see in the comics.

Ik I’m late but what if either they got there powers from the 60s and the cosmic rays took them to the negative zone and by the end they end up in the modern day cause of the incursions or something. Or they also have there powers in the 60s for like a minute and never had a chance to go public cause of like you said Reed maybe messing with stuff to maybe either try to fix them or just Ben and end up stuck in the negative zone and by the end modern day.

Ok time for me to pitch my fan 4 plot again. I pitched this back during pandemic across many marvel TH-cam’s including NR, Emergency awesome, cosmic wonder, including the NR discord…
Fan4 were part of shield back in early 60s with Reed being on a think tank along with Hank Pym and prodigy from Latveria Victor, researching the quantum realm, which is when Hank discovered Pym Particles, then they’re brought in on project exodus to help hide the mutants there after the Cuban missile crisis, in tandem with Professor X and the Ancient one using their abilities to hide the existence of mutants from the world. Fan4 get trapped in quantum realm while leading exodus into the quantum realm and are betrayed by Doom when they run into Kang in QR, and are trapped in Negative zone eventually being captured by Annihilus. And while there Valeria is born and the team gains their abilities during their escape from NZ.
Doom escapes into post age of Ultron MCU to quietly rebuild Latveria in the rubble of Sorkovia, while Fan4 movie has the team along with a pregnant Sue finally emerge from QR today but need to reenter to steal Cosmic Rod from NZ, to help Franklins birth, leading to annihilation wave beginning.

I think the obvious path is saying they were on SABER and this would actually tie it into the awful Secret Invasion and make that show at least worth something because their powers could have all came from a lab accident up there while working with the blood.
